Being a senile old, uneducated c*** I shall be voting OUT, that is if I can find someone to transport my lazy 25st slob of a body to the Polling Station. Last time I went there, they needed a crane to get me in and out of the place.
Bit late to this thread so sorry if it's already been commented on but where do you live that everyone has their own house. Jeez, house prices clearly need to rise.
I'm a definite outer. Had to laugh at Cameron tonight on ITV saying he would rid us of foreign criminals, well he hasn't so far. Chindamo is a prime example, murders a headmaster doing his job but EU courts say we can't send him back to Italy as it would infringe HIS right to a family life. Try telling that to the Lawrence family who's lives he devastated. Cameron is a liar on the Tony Blair scale. Where does Cameron think 333.000 incomers per year ( and thats been acknowledged as an understatement ) are going to live, go to school. use our public services without it impacting on our existing lives. I have friends from Bulgaria with degrees in banking and finance who have come to this country to work as waitresses because the minimum wage here is 7 times more than what they earn at home. The higher the wage rises the more people will come from the high unemployment countries of Spain, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Romania & Bulgaria.
Love how everyone is slating Cameron for wanting in when one of the biggest out campsigners is ****ing Boris ****ing Johnson. Open your eyes people! I mean ****ing Boris ****ing Johnson. The world really has gone mad if he is guiding everyone. Imagine a world where 4 of the people 'in charge' could be Boris, Trump, Putin and Kim Jong-un. All with twitchy fingers over those big red buttons. Jeez, better get building that nuclear survival bunker now.
Part of this vote will revolve around a vote for whether some think Cameron is a kernt. The pigs head ****er is on thin ice with many.
Norwegians have had this dilemma before on whether to be in or out.... please log in to view this image
If it's an in/out, in/out decision then the only person whose vote should really count is Shola Ameobi.
Well that's a stupidly short sighted view on a huge, longer term issue. This isn't about Cameron, who will move on after this term regardless of who wins the next election. If that's what people are basing their vote on then we're screwed . Especially when his likely successor is Boris.
It's reality though. Go into any pub in the region and it's all they are talking about. Commercially (my business head) I want us to stay though but I know loads who are making a judgement based on the pig pumper. Same in the South West where I work. Most seem to want out based on hatred of Cameron and Osbourne. Personally I haven't decided yet but countries like Norway and Switzerland seem ok out it has to be said. I'll drink 10 cans at the weekend then mark x on my postal vote.
I live down south, rental prices have increased by a few hundred a month in the last couple of years making it impossible to save and buy. Houses that go onto the market are being sold over the asking price in little to no time.
It's not just about sovereignty though is it really, it's accountability. How can we hold our own MP's accountable when they don't have any say or input. Tax relief for the rich? you mean the ability to avoid the British Tax system due to EU legislation? Cameron can be quoted dozens of times prior to this referendum saying that Britain would be more than capable outside of the EU and that not only would we survive, we could thrive. I can get the video's off twitter if you want? Its wholly irrelevant because I don’t believe a single word that comes out of his mouth. Im surprised how you can be so Anti-Conservative yet so pro-EU and agree with Cameron, George Osborne, the IFS (who receive a large proportion of their funding from guess who?, oh the EU) £7 million a year the IFS get from the EU, they are not likely to compile reports damning the EU when they receive so much from them! Just like every other economist involved spouting stupid figures about recession and WW3. If we vote to leave, I'm pretty confident that Cameron's position would become untenable, it would have to be seriously considered who would replace him. In my opinion Boris isn’t the best option, but from these campaigns and from what I've watched and read, Michael Gove would be a contender. You talk about the EU bringing in great equality laws and i suppose you include human rights and employee rights, yet .we have been in the EU for 40 years, times have changed, progress has been made, it's a different world. What's to say this is all the EU's doing and that we wouldn’t have implemented this laws of our own back. Do Norway have some profoundly unfair rights and laws. Do they have the death sentence? No Because were not all Iran and Saudi Arabia, I think we are a little more progressed than some of these countries. So don’t think that leaving the EU means everyone loses their rights! Why do you think tuition fees are rising. Because in the last fiscal year the government confirmed that the tax payer would have to foot the bill for £80 odd million of outstanding debt from students taht had either come here from an EU Country, took out a loan and after they achieved their grades, they left. They do not pay back the loan, its impossible to recover the loan through another countries tax system. for the purposes of equality that figure does include british students taking loands and leaving the country, however the report stated that the majority of the outstanding unrecoverable debt comes from EU students. I actually laughed when I read the comment about changing he EU, wow change the EU, did you see the reforms magic Dave got us? there is no changing the EU, they have their agenda and this benefits the countries of its choosing and ****s all over countries like Greece. The EU sold the majority of the Greek government owned assets for peanuts. Greek Airports and national rails were sold and to who? German companies. The lies about Turkey not being accepted in, the crippling debt of EU countries, you wanna be a apart of all that or even try and change it. Good Luck We are obviously going to have a difference of opinions being from different parts of the country. Based in Essex/London I would have a completely different opinion/argument to anyone living in Birmingham, Luton, Newcastle or N.Ireland for instance. People have to vote for what is best for them. I know what's best for me for my partner and for my daughter and governed by people I pay massive salaries to and did not elect is not my choosing. One lady left her role in the EU recently but will continue to earn 400k a year for the next 6 years from EU funds for doing nothing, I don’t want no part of that.
Trade, cars, German car manufacturers made up over 1 million of the 2.6 million news cars sold in 2015 in the UK, the value of this trade was in the region of £2.4 billion, if we leave do we really believe that the German motor industry is going to stop dealing with us.
I don't know if people realise but the EU has a sneaky policy of imposing loyalty clauses on payments made to staff in terms of pensions and in funding bodies, they very quietly say that if you publically speak out against the EU then funding can be cut, EU Commissioners Pensions are one of those that was recently highlighted when it became known that these clauses are being imposed to ensure that people do not make critical comments about the EU or if they do then the EU can punish them by withdrawing pensions or funding.
Great deduction over one year, what about the last 20 years where the amount of houses being built have declined year on year in comparison to year on year growth of immigration. What about each family that has kids, what about natural growth? what about not spending sufficient funds on our infrastructure, schools, hospitals. I understand that more needs to be done to make the uk more even and we shouldnt be looking to london to be the powerhopuse of the country, which any one will agree is the case. Its wrong. Jobs need to be dispersed more evenly, but it happens in every country. The comment that immigrants arent coming here to steal our jobs is incorrect, I have a 17 year old sister and she cant find a job, when I was 17 i worked 2 jobs and have very little trouble. every coffee shop, sainsbury's receptionist is inundated in applicants. My partner works at the NHS and they can get 70 odd applicants for basic roles. How is anyone supposed to gain any experience if we are happy to hand unspecialist roles to everyone else. Hw about we reduce the amount of people claiming job seekers and put them in roles where they dont require specialist skill sets?
I'm voting out, however, I do think that the choice of who we want to run the country (the British or the Europeans) could be like choosing between throwing yourself off a bridge or chucking yourself in front of a moving train. I mean, do we really trust any of these people?
