Can I ask why? Particularly Watson?I appreciate that. But you were implying that them staying was a good thing. I don't fully agree with that. Or at all, actually.
I really like Sammy Lee. He brings raw enthusiasm which must be positive to the players.I appreciate that. But you were implying that them staying was a good thing. I don't fully agree with that. Or at all, actually.

Goalkeeping coaches are two-a-penny. Really, anyone can do it. Kelv could do it.
Sammy is a good lad, but again, he's pretty much a dogsbody and puts the cones out and fetches the tea etc. Every club needs one of those, but it's hardly irreplaceable.

I raised this a while ago. We really let Koeman have it easy. Will Everton let Koeman jet off on holiday during International breaks? Could have been a sticking point in negotiations.
Except that Dave Watson is regarded as the best there is by most who know, but don't let that get in the way of your opinion!
Throw the ball.... catch the ball. Throw the ball.... catch the ball. Kick the ball... punch the ball. etc etc.
I could do it.
Watson is the England GK coach.

No one would pay you to do it.

Sounds to me, that Everton did the dirty on Saints. They probably could care less, about paying any fine, for "taping up"Well, his job is to represent his clients' interests. If Koeman was interested in the Everton job, then Albers should have explored it. So he would be ethically in breach of his duties were he to turn down Everton for the benefit of De Boer at the cost of Koeman's wishes.
But from reports, it seems as though Koeman really wasn't very interested in Everton's initial offer. So there was nothing wrong with Albers turning that down. Nor with suggesting one of his other clients as an alternative. He's looking out for both clients.
Of course, that would only apply the rejection of the initial offer. If Everton came back with a better offer and Koeman was at least mildly interested in exploring it and having negotiations, then Albers would inevitably run into a conflict of interest with two clients both wanting the same job.
So that would be a reason for Koeman to switch agents even if he didn't feel particularly betrayed or unhappy with Albers. And Albers would not be a hero, or villain, or victim. It's just business.
