Honestly didn't rate him at all, very selfish player. He scored less goals in his time at Hull thank Hernandez scored this season.
I met him outside the pub on Saturday and shook his hand. It was a waste of wrist movement. I thought that he would set the place alight with his quick feet when he first turned out for us. Not enough end product.
Always thought he was a talented footballer, not bothered about the selfishness as we piss about a lot on the edge of the box anyway. Good luck Sone, he knows the set up there as it was where he started his career and I'm sure he will do well for them given the chance.
Since his last injury he has been a waste of space, sorry but if he actually puts studs in his boots to help him stand up instead of falling on his arse all the time, and someone tells him to actually look up when he has the ball he may get back to former glories. Wish him well, but glad to be rid tbh.
Good Luck Sone Aluko and thanks for your time at our club. 2012/13 you were superb and a big reason why we went up. However, something has gone wrong with you and you have never got back to where you were. Maybe a move to a club(Birmingham ??) that will play you week in and week out maybe what you need. All the best and good luck.
Some good goals there, we ought to sign him I thought he was never the same after his first injury shortly after we signed him, a change of scene will probably do him good.
If someone places some faith in him and plays him every week, he might just get back to where he was with us. As it is, I think he was trying too hard, being too selfish, and trying to do too much and making the wrong decision almost every time he got the ball. That made him one of our most frustrating players of recent times. Good decision all round for him to move on.
Not one commentator on this montage - even our own - pronounced his first name right. Must drive him nuts.
