I don't actually know if it's Aluk-o or Aluk-u but it's definitely Shawny.

 

To be honest I'd forgot all about him, which is a reflection of how he's faded since injured

But good luck to him and thanks for the goals

 

Despite having only four letters in his name there are a variety of ways of pronouncing it.I can not think of any other people with the same name..plus commentators always emphasise syllables when there is a goal chance.Think Rooney has about 6 O.s in his name when he is about to pull the trigger.

 

If I was a commentator or pundit, I'd simply ask the player himself. He told me that it's Shawny.

 

I always thought it was Sony or Sunny, never met him though. JJ was much easier!

 

We should have just called him "Dave".

 

Scored some class goals but i'm still left with a "what might have been" feeling, always thought he was super talented but never quite hit the heights
