Has an eerily familiar feeling of when every player/Poch left

Not saying all the players will leave, just that when this much hype gets generated it is usually not without substance

Everton are offering Koeman:

- £7m per season
- £100m budget
- 100% of whatever Lukaku goes for
- new stadium guarantee

Kenwright confident that by Monday that Ronald will be their new boss.

Got to be honest here, that's a ludicrous amount of money. I love Ronald, as a player and actually as a man (regardless of this - I get this, it's understandable). As a manager I think we actually may have flattered him a little and I do think there's better out there. As GM says, we've got a great coaching staff at the club so I hope we can keep hold of them.

I understand Ron's decision more than I understand Everton spending that much on him, I have to say (and that's not being wise after the event either).

Swear kat is like a billionaire, so this Everton guy is like a peasant in comparison?

Why do you keep throwing her wealth at this and "we should give him what he wants?"

The club have said how things will be run. I thought we all knew her wealth is irrelevant except in terms of cash loans. They want to run things their way. That's cool.

All I'm saying is this works for anything saints related. All people have to do is bid or offer slightly more than we have knowing we won't be willing to match it, and that alarms me massively!!

My favourite part of this day has been the abusing of the infamous Tim De Wit on Twitter. To be fair, if it wasn't for his pesky tweets, Koeman would sign a contract along with Mane and Tadic.

Difference being, and this is not at all a shot at Kat, is that he bought into the club with the specific intention of setting a bunch of money on fire in pursuit of the top of the table, and she did not.

Or maybe she sees a different way to the top by building progressively and spending wisely, rather than trusting RK's judgement to spunk a load of cash in one go?

Well if it comes to pass, I wonder if the likes of Vic and Sadio will wait to see who we bring in before signing a new contract!

By all accounts Ron didn't have a very good record in the transfer market before joining us. Though if Everton get Monchi in I can see them both doing very well there.

Erm, that's literally how it works with every club. How do you think we got Ronald here? We offered him a **** tonne of money (in comparison to what Feyenoord could offer) and while we were at it we took their two best players, Pellé and Clasie, too.

What saints basically are at the moment, is we've got a car that can go 500mph to win a race but we're only willing to travel at 80mph. Your never going to win are you.

It should be clear by now, not least because the board has said it over and over again, that they want the club to be self-sustaining...ie., run at breakeven or a profit.
