I reckon that was a line made up by inadequate feeling men as a line to cover up there own shortcomings, personally!

I'd suggest if I have a nugget penis no matter what car I drove I would lack self confidence.

Nice! We could always get two sets of clubs in he boot of a Cerbera too. It's a criteria I have, going forward, for any sports car I want. My current car is useless with regards to boot space

I wouldn't know mate as I don't own one..<laugh>. We do use them at work which is where I have grew to love them. There is not one member of the team I work with who does not think they are great.. The one draw back is the limited mileage you can get on a charge, which is around about a hundred mile.

I had a blast of a BMW i3 electric thing and the acceleration was brutal like.

30 odd grand though? I paid that for a 430! They have to make the technology cheaper for it to be viable.

I couldn't agree more..The prices of electric and hybrid cars are OTT at present, which has so far prevented me from buying one..

They can and will get them right of course, not sure I'll ever be a convert, maybe a hybrid. What was bizarre was the jolting sensation when you've pulled away, how instant it is. I think to make people who love driving convert they need the mechanical side to operate at that point, to give that feeling and sensation of power.

It was extraordinary this thing, would match an M4 to 60mph, looked absolutely awful though.

Apparently there are no plans to develop a saloon or coupe at this point, bizarre given BMW's core market.

Like it or not they are the future, probably not in our lifetime, but soon enough they will be the only option.

They have hydrogen cars in California, or did have, that seemed the best option for me, endless supply of course, and you can fill it like petrol, no charging. Not sure what happened there, Honda were right behind it then it seemed to stall.

A lot of the rich oil companies have used their influence to put a block on these coming to the market as it would be a massive hit for them..

Just googled it and it seems there are a few heading to market in the UK this year, that said only 11 hydrogen filling stations, meaning it's utterly pointless...

These seem the way forward for me though, if the big marques get behind them.

My first car was a ford anglia and its brake piston was leaking like **** when I was down in Bedale, took it into a garage and he topped the cylinder up for me then he ( this is the honest truth ) took a spoon off the table bent the shaft vertical and said when you feel the brake pedal going spongy ( was on my way home to sunderland ) take the clutch cylinder cap off and you can top the brake one up from there. ) you don't get garage staff like that any more.<laugh>

The technology has been around for years, so for me the only logical explanation for them not taking off is the oil money.

I'd wager my life you're right on that. Oil folk are the richest, the most powerful, the most corrupt of all.
