is he worth his own thread? Well I'll say yes & wish him all the best & hope he gets fixed up with another club soon! (Except l##ds) :emoticon-0148-yes:

He had his moments with us, that goal at Newcastle was good & he scored a few the last time we went up. I'll always say good luck to any ex City player, except when they're against us or in a team that's a rival & we need them to lose!

Yes that goes without saying! But we shouldn't just let him slip away without a thank you :emoticon-0137-clapp

He May end up back in scotland rangers may take him back possibly some team like wolves might see him as a decent signing.

For some reason i can see him going to Fulham.

But yes, i echo the above - he wasnt great, he was good and for a brief spell when fully fit he was very, very good. Just too inconsistent but rather than being about ability, I think this is fitness issues. If he can stay fit then someone is going to get a very good signing.

Didn't he get a very good contract when he signed? I think I remember talk of his contract being worth £40,000 a week in the PL.

Good luck to Aluko.

Mutually, the right decision to release him – he was too expensive in relation to worth to the squad and he needs a fresh start to get his career back on track.

That first season, before the first injury, he was class.

fair play to him, could never accuse him of not trying, and those goals vs Newcastle and Everton and his performance when he took the piss for 90 mins when we beat Leeds 2-0 last time we went up will be remembered fondly. Wish him all the luck with injuries

I remember the first time I saw him play, early in season 2012/13 and I thought we've signed a PL class player for the Championship.

He was the best player in that league, 8 goals and numerous assists up until November. I'm convinced if he'd have stayed fit that season we would
have finished above Cardiff and won the league.

But, as the cliché goes, injuries are part of the game.

Aluko is one of those that could have been a top player if lady luck had not deserted him.

Good luck to him.

Good luck to him
Superb at times (mainly pre injury) and certainly leaves some good memories
Seemed to try hard whenever he did get a chance, even when it didn't always work

Wish him all the best, unless he's playing against us in which case I hope he is ****e
