If the Allams where to introduce concessions and drop talk of a name change(which shouldn't really matter too much anyway as its not going to happen). Would people be willing to support them in light of their how good they have been in other areas?

It's not the talk of the name change, it's the total rebrand of the club that has already occurred that needs to be reversed.
I'm afraid not.
These single actions are not what has poisoned the relationship, it's their self-aggrandising aggressive attitude of them versus everyone else. Our club represents our city. They just don't buy into this concept and never will.
They don't believe in collaboration or the concept that they are just the latest in a series of custodians who safeguard our club on behalf of City fans past and City fans yet to come. The use our club as a platform to highlight their own profile and as a self-promotion tool.
Every time I have a chat with a group of our fans, I think "****, we could run this club better than the Allams do. We have better ideas, more sensible and pragmatic ones, than the divisive 'innovative' **** we have been served up these past few years."
I get the impression that the people running City devote about one hour a week to it, and that most of the people they employ work under a cloud, fearful of being sacked.
Our club has lost its soul.

Not for me. This is a divided unhappy club that needs a clean slate. Its fair to say that been Marine generator geniuses does not mean you can run a football club. Bailed us out big style and massive thanks for that but shocking PR with customers.

Even if they made promises never to repeat name change rubbish, reinstated badge, left the Airco arena and scrapped the membership scheme, we would just be waiting for the next episode of idiocy to come around the corner.

HCOSC can't really do anything but tow the party line and you can't talk to someone who wont listen
Its a bit like an unhappy marriage ....We still have to live in the house as loyal family but will be a lot happier when the divorce happens and we can get on with life again
'Talking' of a name change isn't the issue
They've changed the name already, and airbrushed the word City out of everything. Website, shirt, letters, emails, programmes etc etc
The only way any trust could be rebuilt would be by their actual action
Personally if they completely changed everything branding wise so we were Hull City again, completely stopped with the Hull City Tigers nonsense, and reissued season tickets with concessions then for me I'd be happy for them to stay. I still wouldn't trust them yet, but in time I might as again I would measure them by their actions
However none of that is going to happen ...ever...so even though we may well end up with owners that have other negative traits it is time to sever things now regardless
Yeah and someone in the house keeps doing a 'Bobby Sands' brown wallpaper job one of the rooms to spite everyone else.
It's all a bit academic because it'll never happen, both sides would have too much backing down to do.
They would need to bring in a CEO who understands football and is brilliant at PR, they would then need to retreat into the background and stay there!
Over several years, with good fan communication, a serious rebrand back to Hull City and good decisions, people would put up with them and that's as good as they could hope for.

It's a lovely thought, and yes, i'd forgive and forget and move on. Sadly it is is just not going to happen, the Allams have had many many opportunities to drop their ludicrous ideas and have failed out right to do so.
I also tend to think things have gone too far and let's be clear it was not the fans who began this process
The inflammatory comments about 'die when they want' revealed a mindset which only someone used to throwing their financial weight about in absence of reason could make.
Also the Allams have made a mint out of City and will walk away richer than when they first arrived.
They hit the jackpot when they appointed Bruce whether they did so by accident or intent that more than the funds they made available to him gave us the success of recent years ( Derby proves cash alone doesn't guarantee success )
I hate the fact that we couldn't sell out last week and are derided for it I always believed a successful City would pull in big crowds based on our history not hope.
The Allams have squandered a golden opportunity to take the club to the next level they like many megalomaniacs wanted the council to gift them what is a public asset they have utter contempt for the ordinary working class fans who are the lifeblood of our club, the type of people like me who gave our cash to pay the players wages when we were on the verge of collapse. I don't recall the Allams being there then .
Any Competent advisor to the new owners would surely make it a priority to urge them to rebuild the relationship with ALL the fans.
