Ours said 'The Tigers v Sheffield Wednsday', Wednesday's said 'Hull City v Sheffield Wednesday'.

I'm not even sure it had a 'the' did it?
I thought it just said "Tigers v Sheffield Wednesday"
I don't know why that's worse, but it seems worse to me for some reason

It did just say "Tigers"

That's probably because you wouldn't say "I'm off to watch Tigers".
