I meant proper in the context of our squad, which is what we were discussing, not about the individual's ability as a player. Proper because Diame is not a proper striker but is currently in that role. No need to be a prat.

I'm not being a prat at all. You said we'll start the season with 2 strikers and Diame as a central attacking midfielder. I said we wouldnt.

Done.

I never once suggested we wouldn't sign a striker, PROPER or otherwise.

No.. we started with you asking who we would replace in our 11, I said we'd put a proper striker in Diame's current position, and you went off on a silly tangent from there demanding I show you games where Bruce has played two strikers before.

Well, no, it started as a discussion around that, with you saying we didn't need one, but then it became a weird conversation where you seemed to think Diame couldn't play behind two strikers despite doing it before his injury in the PL.

Where - seriously where - did I say 'we dont need to buy another striker'? And where - seriously where - did I say that 'Diame cant play behind 2 strikers'? I said Bruce won't start the season with 2 strikers and Diame behind them in an attacking central role.

You cant just keep making **** up about what someone said and hoping that it randomly sticks.

And I said Bruce would start the season with 2 strikers. It's really not that hard to keep up. But please move on now, it got boring half an hour ago.

You asked who should be replaced in the XI ahead of McGregor. I listed three positions Bruce would look to strengthen - a second striker, a left winger and a centre mid. You then said we didn't need a second striker in the XI. I said we did, and Bruce had shown before that he uses one. You said that wasn't true. And it went from there. I am not putting words in your mouth of making **** up. Go back and read the thread. You seem to have been confused by my use of proper when I said we needed a proper striker in place of Diame. I meant that in the context of Diame being used as a makeshift striker this season, so I don't know what Ulloa has to do with it.

If you want to continue this take it to PM but if not move on.

1 - dont tell me what to do.

2 - I didnt say that highlighted in bold. You're confusing what i think we should do and what i think Bruce will do. It's all in writing for anyone to read so i dont know why you're making this **** up.

3 - I really hope it is the last you'll say on it.

Hard to say depends who's available and what the financial demands are

Definatly need a goalscorer though it's a must I'm not convinced Hernandez will score a lot this time around, and I think diame behind him isn't good enough as an attacking force.

I think the fact huddlestones got a new contract is quite scary does Bruce plan to persist with him as our deep lying playmaker? Seems Bruce could stick to the team plan that got us relegated

Spot on. Think Bruce will definitely be in the market for a starting striker to play alongside Hernandez. Diame might end up coming off the bench in all honesty, not sure he's consistent enough.

Followed by random claims about what people have said and then somehow continuing to argue about it despite written evidence being there for all to see.

I think he's used to verbal arguments when this approach might work, but it's flawed when its written.
