I haven't really come them on the course Comm' but these horse flies bite the **** out of players

Yuk.

You aint come across any camel spiders? Evil bastards they are.

Mate of mine got bitten of mossies when playing golf. Got Dengue. We thought he just had flu. Plied him with loads of spirits. Next day intensive care. He pulled through like.

I probably should have said that I'm left handed, right handed for everything else but I'm a leftie for any two handed sports like golf and cricket. Always seemed strange to me.

Either way though your advice is still relevant, pulling the shot would make it slice wouldn't it so I'll have a look at that next time, cheers.

Not many of us lefties around.

Had to cancel my golf game today, so slightly gutted. My mate has smashed his car up so can't get here from Salisbury. I suppose one good thing from it is that it's forecast for heavy rain. **** playing golf in the rain..
17th will be closed now :emoticon-0121-angry

This was the temperature in the car yesterday, it cooled down a little later tho, thankfully

When I was out in Saudi I never had temperatures like that.

Down in the South West, in Khamis Mushayt, at over 10,000 feet altitude, it was never an issue.

I was only ever bothered by it down on the Red Sea coast, or Riyadh. Hated that heat with a passion!

Played the seniors open at Dunstanbrough yesterday....no rain but very very windy...35 points respectable I thought in the conditions

Don't know the course at all but one over handicap is pretty good mate.
Always tricky playing on a windy day not knowing how much to compensate, don't mind the wind or rain but hate it when you get both together :headbang:

One club I was a member of was Houghton le Spring..there are windmills working nearby...if you want to learn how to play in wind..have a few rounds there.
