    He handled the ball in the Scottish penalty area but the ref gave the penalty to Scotland so Wales missed out on going to the World Cup :mad: :mad:

    No, Island Saints "toothless" gag was the giveaway.

    Still amazed he scored double figures for us. I remember him head butting Kevin Moran of Man Utd in the penalty area at the Milton Road end and getting away with it. :)

    Ouch! I was 7. I remember the game being at Anfield but didn't recall that incident. That 78 was my first Real World Cup watch. I watched a lot of it on a portable black and white television in a caravanette, on holiday in Wales :)
