Once again the fans of this great club are being let down

- The club have been devious ****s by making sure that 'Hull City Tigers' appears on the eticketing site. FFS, how many more times you dumb ****s? your application to change the name has now been turned down twice.
Why continue to antagonise your fans (beg pardon- 'customers' as you prefer to think of them) by using this inflammatory and divisive name?
Is it because you are stupid or just ****s? One or the other possibly both.
- Sky/ Football League, why have you made it a 5pm kick off that inconveniences fans who are paying (extortionately) to attend? Did they not enter into your calculations? Did either of the clubs have a say in the time being moved? Return rail travel is virtually impossible because of the late finish/ early departure time of the last train? Which **** decided this and to programme rail network maintenance on the busy Bank Holiday weekend?
Just like Arsenal Final 2 years ago, City fans back of the queue when various parties' needs are taken into consideration- is anyone speaking up for us, like the club or the FSF? Credit to Karl Turner and Diane Johnson in this respect - but where is Ehab Allam and Steve Brady? Too busy to use their voice?
- Talking of Steve Brady, what are the Council doing to talk up the importance of this game and the city's best wishes for a successful outcome? Whatever happened to all the black and amber decorations from Bank Holiday Monday May 26 2008 when the big and important buildings in town had the civic crest in club colours? Where is the buzz? Has Assem Allam reduced the council to cowering mutes? Do they want us to do well?
All parties need to up their game considerably, apathetic fans included.

The 5pm kick off time is chosen (as with the FA Cup final too) because it returns a larger TV audience.

The silence from the council leaders is deafening. Last week we heard the ERCC crowing from the rooftops because '30,000' had been attracted to Beverley to see the start of the bike race. That's 30,000 who didn't have to buy a ticket, had no-one counting them and it could have been 3,000 for all anyone knew, but it was good news for Beverley and a return on the ERCC modest outlay.
How much free publicity for Hull will next week's Final generate ?
Why are not the council offering a civic reception ? Where are the congratulations ?
Where is the bunting and the flags that we saw first time around ?
Someone should be questioning The Brady Bunch as to why they are mute on this one.
Also it's HULL CITY in the Final.
If anyone knows who is selling flags with HULL CITY written across them, wholesale, please let me know.

We all know why the council isn't bothering tubby and it's not their fault. Who do you expect to turn up at this civic reception? Because it sure as hell won't be the players.

It doesn't stop them from offering one. It doesn't stop them dressing the city centre up in black and amber. It doesn't stop them using the media to congratulate the club on reaching the Play Off Final and sending their best wishes.
It doesn't stop them from milking the free publicity for all it's worth and using it as an olive branch to show the club and the city that the council is behind them and seriously wishes them well.
If it were one the RL clubs in next weeks Wembley Final with a prize of £180m and the chance to have Hull broadcast live to 185 countries on a weekly basis do you think The Brady Bunch would be shy of mentioning it ?

Your old school views usually appeal to me tubs but I think you're wrong on this one, since the Council refused to gift the KC to the Allams every overture from HCC has been thrown back in their face, the refusal to hold a celebration party at the Guildhall and instead hold it at the KC at ''stupid'' o'clock was ****ism of the highest order.

The Allams are not Hull City.
People need to separate the two in their minds and get behind the club- our club- the club of our city.

I'm not disagreeing with you. The last 'celebration' was a shambles and let's hope their are a few less toys thrown out of the pram this time round.
I would like HCC to show some balls and hold a celebration regardless.
They could dress the city up in black and amber. After all the team/club is representing the city of Hull on the national stage next week in front of a Worldwide audience and that in itself is cause enough for celebration.
Why not hold a civic reception and invite those involved with junior football if City themselves don't want to be involved ?
Why don't HCC publicly sponsor a coach down to Wembley next week and turn up and actually support the club, paying for themselves? Shown to be proud to wear the clubs colours ?
You can bet all of Sheffield Council will be there.
MP's too.
Will Prescott seeing as he has so much to say in favour of the name change ?
Will he be at Wembley in a black and amber scarf ?

I understand, and agree with what you're saying, however - the Allams dictate which direction Hull City takes. You and I can get behind the team as much as we want, when the vindictive ****s who own us say we'll be celebrating at the KC when most of you are at work plus the open top bus ride won't actually include anywhere inside the Hull boundary there's not much we can do about it. I'm gutted to repeat, Hull City won't be my club until they've left it.
