If the country votes out, then watch Germany pull the plug, then watch the eu tumble like a stack of cards.

Why does it matter if they're European or not? Everyone deserves proper health care regardless of their country of origin

Normally at a GP you book an appointment in advanced so it doesn't matter who is being dealt with before you

How do you know this, as I completely disagree in all honesty. Germany has an aging and declining population, hence why they're so keen to take extra people in as opposed to other countries. They would literally crumble without immigration.

The SUN newspaper distorting things yet again, trying to get Royalists on the side of the 'out' camp - You would have thought people would know by now not to believe rubbish stories like this in the SUN - after all - it wasn't THAT long ago that the SUN was fined £millions for falsely publishing that Elton John was gay..............

It matters because it has to be paid for. so fair minded people would say that the people that HAVE paid for it THROUGH THEIR LIFETIMES. will get it when needed, like Oskar Pyecroft was turned down for funding when Your lot are constantly harping on about the NHS being underfunded and you have just been given a reason why it is at breaking point.

It is quite simple MTG, the resources are finite and those who have paid for it quite rightly want to be able to use it when required.

So we're clear. I am referring to 'health tourists' who fly in use the NHS and leave. I personally have no problem with people working here and paying taxes who use the NHS.

    Oh dear, naughty SUN....<laugh>

The headline appeared alongside a picture of the Queen in ceremonial dress above the quote "EU going in wrong direction, she says".

And do you have any idea of how many health tourists they are. In my opinion the idea of health tourists Is perfect scaremongering and ****flinging from the out side.

Immigrants who come here pay taxes and national insurance and thus put money into the pot. I don't think there are any normal cases in which people are paying in and not getting treatment. Unless of course closet racist Redprint (before mentioned CORRECTION) (Not Rod sorry RedorDead for any offence caused)says that they should be put to the bottom of the pile for being European

"I don't think there are any normal cases in which people are paying in and not getting treatment."

I gave you a clear example of a case exactly that.. I'll say it again because you have trouble understanding. OSKAR PYECROFT..

Have you got anything to say that is not just your opinion and has some basis of fact?

Do you know how many health tourists there are? I don't, but I have read statements form Doctors working in the NHS saying that it is a major problem, I think I'll believe them rather than a student who has never worked in the NHS.

RODs a racist now?.. would you say that to his face boy?

The UK is already at a point where the demand (people who can afford ludicrous house prices) exceeds supply (chronic housing shortages).

That will only get worse with the UK in the EU.

No real figures in the article, the daily mail is a famous word twister of a paper and has no doubt enhanced the story to make everything sound worse.

The reported figures for cost of treating tourists are peanuts compared to money brought in to tourists into the economy and Hutus in through tax

Oscar Pycroft is not a normal case. Very specialist cases like his sometimes require clinics abroad for treatment as it isn't available here.

Exactly you have not got any idea, just repeating what the tabloids say.

CORRECTION I was referring to redprint's remark not RedorDead 's

And the statement on immigrants and the NHS was borderline racist

I would challenge such words in public as it is wrong

The NHS regularly pays for treatment abroad that is not available here.. His was a normal case that could have been resolved by bringing the surgeon here for a cost of £50k.. a relatively small sum in comparison to what they spend on other treatments.

Thats what you have been doing from page 1 of this thread.. but you choose which ones your agenda fits..Plus I said I have read DOCTORS reports.. not tabloid reports.

You have trouble reading facts don't you..
