Is there any chance Man United don't want Europa, so may try to avoid a result tomorrow...?

They can't escape it. If they lose against Bournemouth & Palace then they'll end up in the Europa play offs and will probably have to cancel prestige friendly tournaments in far off lands

Softened up over Lallana...at least he had the grace not be a raving success elsewhere. :) Like him to be good for England because it reflects well on our Academy. He was wrong to leave us quickly after promising eternal love, but I now also remember what he did for us before (though I hope he also remembers what we did for him). Lovren is a bit different because we don't owe him, he owed us at least another season after bringing him to every one's attention.

Anyway, the best revenge is success....and we are enjoying that. :)

We have to man/woman up and bite the bullet....come on, United:emoticon-0119-puke: At stake is a good preseason and possibly some early League points we may need for the title. We have to take one for the team.
Plus the added bonus of Van Gaal maybe getting another season and all the woes of the Utd fans that will bring. Worth it for comic value alone!

WHU in the playoffs was quite funny at times last season so don't mind a repeat.

I also believe if Man U win the FA Cup LVG may stay next season, they will be worse with him than without him.

Oh I can easily support United for this. Means Pardew gets nada.
The downside though is the Palace fans are so good and a lot of their players will never come closer to winning something. I want Utd from a Saints perspective (Head) and Palace from a football perspective (Heart). For this reason I would love a real thriller - oh dear Van Gaal will see that doesn't happen!

Nothing to think about for me - straight into the group stage trumps everything else for me, so am hoping Utd wrap this one up early.
