Great win but where the hell has this Newcastle team been hiding all season, I'd be fuming!!!

Didn't learn anything today, apart from that the 40 points mark really is a Thing. Hope that's the last time we ever see Steven Taylor in a NUFC shirt, and better not see Colocrappa in one either.

I'm waiting for one player after the next to come out saying they want to stay, only before being sold in August.

What a bunch of tosser our boys are. Hope they get the move of their dreams after that performance... ****s!

Can see Genie and Jannmat were putting themselves in the shop window this game! Where was that performance this season from them? Didn't see the match, but either NUFC played like Champions League winners, or Spurs just failed to show up. Even the thought of the Arse going above them wasn't enough for them to put in a shift.

I am not even happy about this. It just makes me mad
Ashley was watching so if it makes him more likely to give Benitez what he wants to stay then it'll be worth something.

Also, should get Aarons signed up with a new contract ASAP and do everything they can to keep Townsend, Lascelles and Mbemba.

It leaves a bitter taste when a game like this could have had such positive headlines, but is over shadowed by
  • a horrendous tackle by a player in a black and white shirt that I might actually have wanted to stay with us next season,
  • a dive by a player in a black and white shirt, and
  • performances by players in black and white shirts that have rarely been seen in the other 37 games in the competition.
And I am sorry to say that anyone who saw the pictures on Sky might have concluded that Rafa's body language at the end was of someone that is not hanging around with us. I hope I am wrong but he seemed to be clearly saying goodbye to people in my opinion :emoticon-0106-cryin

Oh, and a player in a black and white shirt who had the audacity and complete lack of respect to tell Rafa he wasn't coming off to be substituted (Townsend).

I know it might be hard to tell, but I am glad this season is over. Just thought I'd spell that out in case no one noticed :emoticon-0111-blush

I hope you're wrong about Rafa. I'm optimistic after the flow of comments in the last few days, some from the man himself. I'm also convinced that as he wants to work in England, that there will be few other options open for him. It's a bit desperate I know, and his class should do better than the 2nd tier, but I see Rafa as our only hope of turning things round in a season.

I enjoyed that. Mitrovic is a looney, and Sissoko dived, but how many horrible decisions have been given against us this year? We could dive 100 more times and we'd still be in credit.

Wonderful win, a nice way to go out. I may get what this Rafa craic is all about finally.

If I am wrong, I will gladly come back on here and admit openly that I was wrong! (provided everyone agrees not to tell Mr M that I can actually, sometimes be wrong :emoticon-0102-bigsm )
