I see Sunderland's main focus today is Newcastle United with some banner mocking our relegation.

But THEY'RE the bigger club. Honest.

Enjoy it mate.

I'm betting there won't be any mackems there this year......or next year....or the year after :1980_boogie_down:

Cheers.

Trying to get away from the "living to work" lifestyle and move to the "working to live" lifestyle. Have been trying to do that for years but probably like most find that work just keeps taking over at times.

Bloody hell, Janmaat and Taylor start. Must be to say their goodbyes because they won'y be here next season.
Team. Darlow. Janmaat, Taylor, Mbemba, Dummet, Townsend. Tiote, Colback, Winjaldum, Sissoko, Mitrovic.

Cheers.

I'm self-employed mate so I totally understand. I now refuse to work weekends, life is too short. Good to get a good work/leisure balance.

Like I said, complete farce. Even with Taylor we're winning comfortably. In fairness, Spurs totally deflated, they were bad last week already. Alli is world class and Dembele is a big miss too. That guy Mason is League 1 quality.

Gini is actually asking for the ball and riding tackles and chasing it. He really feels in the shop window doesn't he.

Could our team be any more overtly transparent! This is an almost shameless display of "I'M AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE, COME AND GET ME!" from Janmaat, Sissoko, Wijnaldum etc

Are they trying to rub our noses in the ****. FFS. Why NOW????

It doesn't really matter anymore what their motivation is for playing well.
What does matter is that we go out on a high note, the crowd are singing for Rafa and he gets to end the season seeing potential.
Hopefully it helps sway his decision to stay on.
Ultimately it's Ashley and Co who will make or break that.
We know who will want to stay, we know those who will be away asap. We don't want or need the likes of Gini, Sissoko, Jammat. They have no true heart or love for anything bar easy money.
Let's just pray that future negotiations are positive, Rafa gets his assurances and more importantly trusts them.
All things considered the future could be bright. HTL

If Sunderland hold out for the win against Watford (and we also win) we were effectively relegated against Man City despite our good finish to the season. Hats off to them for finishing stronger.
