Good post, I think it sums a lot of us up ....... as someone (who I can't recall) wrote a few weeks ago, there's no joy in it anymore. I think of the pride and joy I felt at Yeovil, Hillsborough, the play off final, the 2-1 at the Emirate; the home matches against Swansea, Watford, the scousers, we were bouncing! How the **** did we end up here?
No. I made a post, then you and Castto picked me up on things I hadn't said. I'm sat with three Newcastle St holders and two Sunderland lad, they all agree moving is **** but it happens. For Castro - the Newcastle move I was on about was the 3 Season plan - they lost a few ST lads then, a couple of my mates among them - they're back now. We're still learning this big boys stuff - if you know what I mean. We're on the Southern Comfort, so logging off. UTT
I picked you up on something you seem to have missed, as you're talking about things that are absolutely nothing to do with what I said. Though I've lost interest now anyway, enjoy your bourbon.
Yeah well...attention to detail is required when we're discussing manly drinks like bourbon and foul scented ladies liqueurs like SC
I can't disparage Southern Comfort. Janis Joplin was rarely seen without a bottle of it nearby... Not that I would want to drink it myself.
When we wanted a big sample of City fans and their views we used a proper online survey and spread it all over the place. This was just a quick opinion poll to help us see how likely people would be to join in. I agree I probably should have posted it on here and probably not on the Facebook group I put it on, but I just wanted to explain that this shouldn't be seen as us doing our best to get the views of thousands of fans. It wasn't meant to be anything serious.
I emailed Justin Madders MP after he raised the issue of prices being too high for kids in the Commons I got an auto email from him saying that MPs were only allowed to deal with correspondence from their constituents, so could I send my postal address, but then to be fair to him he did actually respond He explained the correspondence rule, but he did say he had spoken to Hull MPs to tell them that he has a number of emails from City fans complaining about the scheme As good as could be hoped, but I do think that lots of City fans contacting their actual MPs about it wouldn't do any harm, particularly those with kids
Spot on, and a good question. Some great memories in the past, but Yeovil away will take something special to even get close to.
Anybody can contact their MP if they have concerns. The more people that do, the better, get straight on it.
Yes I think it's the actual number of people contacting an MP that will make them pay attention , the more the better
I have written to my MP asking for my concerns over the abolition of the concessions to be passed onto Justin Madders MP. I have also complained about being forced into, essentially, a credit agreement to buy my season pass. I have asked for my worries to be passed onto the Treasury and BIS, the government departments responsible for ensuring credit agreements are regulated and fair. I let you know what happens.
