If he doesn't want it he doesn't want it. We've proved we can do without Morgan. Not sure if the reverse is true. Same with Victor. Confident we'll get an excellent replacement if he thinks the grass is greener elsewhere.

He is a player I think may well struggle at his next club, depending on who it is.

Well thing is, I think he's doing as well as he can at Saints. Romeu has shown that Victor's replaceable. And when you consider that Morgan can't get games at ManU, what does that tell Victor.?

This is my thought, surely he will look at Morgan, struggling at a poor utd. And he is the better footballer. Let's hope he is just trying to push up his wage.

I agree. Strangely, I may not have agreed with you a couple of seasons ago [if I was being honest and without bias]. It's not that Victor has got worse, but Saints have got better.

I also think you may not have written that a season or two ago. Am I right.?

You are right. If he goes up a level, he may find he becomes a scapegoat if he doesn't keep his own sides flow going. We need a stopper/breaker upper; some of the higher sides need someone better in possession.

The frustrating thing about Vic is that he is capable of keeping possession very well, and can occasionally pull off a trick or two to confound the opposition (what Dave Merrington calls "diddly-dees"). The problem is that he can just as easily undo all the good work with a careless pass.

The real problem is Vic isn't that clever. So it probably effects him on the pitch now and again.

Which is exactly one of the reasons why I don't believe anyone will be interested. If Victor wants to leave for Champions League then he'll need to go back to Celtic, imo.

But he does like spaghetti!

Yet watching Arsenal & Manchester City seems to highlight that they're missing that type of player.
