Sometimes people just make your jaw drop. I was in a traffic jam after a bad accident (not to me) and I heard one woman ask the police to let her through because she had show dogs!!

I hate that sign in the back of cars which says "Caution - Show Dogs in Transit" as if dogs are more important than the humans in cars. The other sign that drives me nuts is "Princess on Board" often with the darling little brat in full view and unrestrained jumping up and down on the back seat. That is just the signs don't get me on the air heads who drive BMWs and Audis. It is a well known fact that both of these manufacturers fit DBIs (Driver Brain Immobilisers) as standard on all of their models.

Images of Elizabeth Line stations released. Modern and bright...ok, but each station is claimed to reflect the local area. One station has diamond shaped tiles to reflect the jewellery quarter. Tottenham is black and glass to reflect the nocturnal nature of the area....so any resemblance to the local area is so subtle as to pass over the head of every normal human being. Efficient and uncluttered....fine, but don't pretend there is anything else going on.

It has always been the tradition on the underground to use different tiles at each station so that the illiterate can identify them.

I've decided, after a long journey the other day, that the worst drivers these days are now Audi owners. They seem to have taken over from the BMW ****wits as the champions of driving too fast, too close, not indicating and generally acting like tossers on the road ........... (you've started something now, Godders!)

I hate 4 wheel drive and these massive cars everyone is switching to (you know, the ones that are big enough to carry a couple of sheep and 4 dogs....and are usually occupied by one woman and a kid). They have read the guff that tells them how safe they are, so they needn't worry about pushing other people off the road. On the Island parking can be tight and it can be murder to see or get out of a space when one of these monsters is sticking out.

I just found out that Brett Anderson, lead singer with Suede, has moved to Chilcompton. Cool eh?
What's even stranger is that I've just been sitting in a café in Lisbon chatting to 2 Portuguese waiters about Frank Zappa and Jethro Tull!

Woman punches pilot after ordered off EasyJet plane. I know such passengers usually get banned by the airline concerned...but I think it's about time all airlines joined together and did a total ban. Why should other people be inconvenienced or even be put at risk by idiots? Not being able to fly on holidays or even business for a fixed term....depending on severity of offence...might make people think. Probably connected with drink....why start drinking before you even get to your destination.

Indeed, a ban throughout airlines would seem to be a sensible censure. How they might arrive at the length of penalty I don't know. If it was FLT [sorry mate, you're temporarily a female for this example ;) ], even a period of 3 months would be a disaster for her. But I suspect she's like most people, so a 3 year ban might do the trick.

As to drink, it depends upon the individual, destination and the airline. For example, many terrified flyers calm down completely once they are slightly sozzled. As for long haul flights like to NZ, you try stopping me from refusing Singapore Airlines' offers of free whisky [all other alcoholic beverages are free too] throughout the entire flight. ;)

I thought the air steward was going to ban me this week when I asked for a peppermint tea :)

It's beyond comprehension. The only people that come close to being as bad are those that will buy it with pride.
At the risk of being stereotypical here, the people that turn up will probably be members of a gang, stoned out of their minds and have an IQ of about 10.

I'm having a discussion with someone on Twitter who doesn't see it as inappropriate. Trump supporter, if you were wondering.
