Slightly harsh, but true. Even Lennox Lewis said the same. Khan stopped the little jabs which gave Canelo time to wind up the big punch.

He actually got caught by a right over the top of his jab, which you could argue is bad technique on Khan's part and really shouldn't happen. But that punch was so fast you have to watch it five times before you can see it coming. Khan is a gambler, which is one of the reason the US public loves him. This time he gambled and lost, but I wouldn't be writing him off. He may step up to middleweight again, he has the frame for it.

Was that baby new when you got it.?
Nope it had a bit over 3000 miles on the clock and I paid 3k for it. I was advertising it for 2750 as I hadn't even done 1000 miles and have kept it on good condition. I could probably sell if i dropped the price, but as it costs so little to run I think I'm going to hold onto it.

I'd be surprised if he did step up again. Admittedly he was fighting Canelo, who isn't a middleweight, but it was like a man against a boy in that fight. Think Khan is much more suited to being a larger welterweight than middle.

Just hopeful they can get the Canelo GGG fight sorted as that would be a really good fight. Even if Virgil Hunter's comments in the interview after the fight were ****ing embarrassing

Before anyone mentions it [LTL], yes I missed today's French MotoGP at Le Mans. Jorge won it with Valentino coming second. Marc Marquez fell off, remounted and came in 13th. Just unlucky, I guess.

I'll see if I can catch some highlights.

Yeah Dovi and Marquez went down in perfect synchronicity. Was very odd.

Good for you. Might I suggest you pass your test on it within the next few years, and then sell, as it will retain its value over a bike of bigger capacity, seeing as a 125cc has that learner market which keeps the price up. The cheapest bikes are pretty much 400cc cruisers, and you get an awful lot of poke for your pound. Dead easy to ride, very comfortable and nice to pose on if that's your thing. They may not be the swiftest or niftiest bikes around, but they will undoubtedly put a smile on your face. In the winter, put a big fly screen on it and you won't be cold. Of course, you could do what I did and buy a sports tourer, but that does take a bit of commitment with kit and stuff and they are not cheap. With a cruiser it's almost de rigueur to go around in padded biker jeans and leather jacket, so take off the lid, put it in the top box and suddenly you're Mr Cool.. I've ridden a couple and I can certainly see the appeal. Might even do it myself one day [just don't tell my sports touring mate] because they are so easy to live with.

Oh fun morning! Arrived at Heathrow for my flight to Germany later than I should have due to traffic issues and things, to be whisked to the front of the check-in queue (wasn't able to check in online yesterday) to be told I was still in time for the flight but there was a problem issuing my seat number. I was sent to another desk where there were another 10 or so passengers who were on my flight in the same situation. We were then told we wouldn't be on that flight as they had had to change the plane to a smaller one with less seats and they would try and get us on the next flight. I was then checked in but couldn't be issued a seat as there is a "fuel problem" with this flight.... I am currently waiting to be called for my seat.

I have deduced two things from this:

1. The British Airways desk staff are fantastic. Calm, supportive and doing all they can to make us feel confident in them doing their best for us. Really top notch people and I'll be sending an email so their management know this. Brilliant.

2. It must be Pie's fault.

Sorry to hear about your problems, but I would like to compliment you on being a good customer. Having been at the coal face of dealing with customers, no problem can be so big that an unreasonable customer can't make it worse. I used to hate it when a man (always a man) would say, 'The customer is always right.' I would reply, 'Yes, but not always correct.' That would usually get me a smile from accompanying wife. :)

Thanks Fran, but it's not their fault and **** happens. You can moan about it or laugh it off. It is not as if it is something really important like a shocking referee decision or a traffic jam on the way to a Saints game :)

I generally try and chill out....what's the point in getting upset. If you are reasonable, most people will try and help you. That was my advice to Leihberr Legacy when his ticket bounced at the game.

The really annoying thing is the way managers fail to support you and fall over themselves to help appalling customers. They do it to shut them up and avoid a scene, but it really makes you angry when a ranting idiot with a sense of entitlement takes priority over a more deserving person.

One guy on my flight suggested that a passenger who paid less for his ticket than he had, should be removed so that he could fly......

"Fuel problem"? That's an odd one.
