We had it right at BP.
Away fans in North, no roof, poor view, blinded by sun or soaked by rain, and virtually inaudible.

Only because the place had gotbrundvfown. Previously when BP was in its prime because of the daft decision to put seats behind, each goal (when Kops became popular the North Stand with no seats in would have made a great, noisy Kop) we had the situation where home fans were behind each goal with the roofs high above (after being able to move around the ground stopped and away fans no longer went on South Stand) and the away fans were in the East Stand where the low roof meant a few away fans could make themselves sound like a lot more.

The north stand at Boothferry Park was excellent.

There was still plenty of standing room but theyd all ****ed off to support leeds ****e, man ure n scouse twats

The point is it diluted the atmosphere . Would have been a great noise in their if it had remained all, standing.
Anyway, according tombstone being stood at the bottom behind the goal net is the worst place to be.<laugh>

It wouldnt have made any difference.
Nobody wanted to support City.
Every bastard at school supported top flight clubs

I went to BP in the late50's and there were seats in north stand then.
I also went in the early 50's with my Granddad & Uncle, we always went to the very top of the North Stand standing area.
There was a large fence running from the top of the stand to the bottom, inside the fence were wooden bench seats these were directly behind the goal, they were usually empty.

the 1,000 people every game ripping the club off by using concession passes when they aren't entitled, are to blame !
That is the real reason for this new scheme.
