To check you wasn't cheating & 'free-ing in as junior/senior' Or because they kept breaking / getting stuck & needed to override them - saw this happening to confirm the 'attendance' figure to 'prove' their success of their 'lower bowel' atmosphere theory to count us to confirm the 140% cheating theory - I moved chairs / swapped with junior confirming I was getting in free as a junior & junior was getting in as an adult - therefore a need for the 'membershit' scheme ...
It wouldn't surprise me. After reading Ehab's open letter it is obvious that the responsibility for this scheme is his and his alone. The scheme was intended to save administration costs which they will do. The rest is just spin.
Did he write anything other than what was printed in the HDM in his 'letter'? There didn't seem any mention of concessions at all did there?
So on his letter... How can concessions save money by moving? Surely all new zones cost more than s concession seat don't they? Kids ones certainly do Prioritising families in zone 1, in order to retain kids when they become adults, seems weird. Wouldn't that mean eventually zone 1 would all be retained adults? Retaining kids when they become adults by putting up kids prices now so there is no 'disparity' later is genius...unless of course you stop retaining them immediately
I think there's some confusion due to a typo in an earlier statement. It should have been "Nobody tells me how to ruin a business".
Its what happens when you make a decision to stop adults getting in on children's passes that involves charging everyone the same. It looks good on paper. You get your staff to spend two years drawing up the plans. You sack the turnstile staff in anticipation of the new scheme and then make the announcement. You then get a huge negative reaction and you start backtracking. The family guarantee has to be introduced for the first year because some families have to find more than £700. Adults who have sat in the South Stand since it opened are up in arms so they get told they can stay. And finally a letter which says we'll all be better off in the future, honest guv. Yes we can sell your details but we haven't done in the past. He makes no guarantee for the future. We only do credit checks on the corporates so don't worry. All that from a man that says he does what's morally right for him.
Does anyone know if there are any double evictees? Unlikely maybe, but I just wondered if anyone got evicted from E1-3 and bought a season ticket in Upper West?
Fairly sure someone on here said that's what had happened to them. A fair few went up there, rather than a poorer view behind the goal, but I'd guess a fair few of those have sadly drifted off now anyway. What a needless ****ing mess.
The worst views in a stadium are stuck behind the net. You cant see **** all and might aswel stay at home. Thats where away fanscshould be stuck
Drink water, stretch, fold and refold a towel, wait for the ball to come back from 100 yds away, wonder what the other keeper's up to behind 20 players...
We have home fans behind both goals because that's what the players wanted. Having away fans behind one goal spurred on the opposition - or so it was felt
Or lack of it that results in no noise. The fact is that in days gone by the most passionate supporters gravitated to positions behind the goal as it was the cheapest place.
