Perhaps saving him to score the winner at the Wembley playoff final (again)Boro promoted - no OBZ on the bench to save Brighton's day, or has he already been carted off to knackers yard?
And top half of the table!
Glass half full and all![]()

I wonder if Brighton will now choke on Sheff Wed?

......but still an extremely "underwhelming", rather than "massive" season for us. As usual I'm looking forward to team rebuilding in the summer, our pre-season contests and next season's campaign. Also seeing the new Dryworld shirts, with hoops all the way around with the new club badge.
I saw that update on Bet365 live scoring - amazing that BBC took 5 mins to update the scoreline with the revised "As it stands" table positions.
They're saving OBZ for the play-off final - off the bench against Derby, would be all of Keoghs' nightmares come true![]()
To be honest it made more sense than most of TEdS posts
If their result was only a 2-3 victory today, what would it have meant for us v them next term. What if it was 0-0? And what if they lost 2-1, with a last minute penalty that should never have been given?and brentford win 5-1 away from home means a double tonking from them next season home and away if only we had a manager
Sorry but have to disagree with that. Think the club have executed a perfect transitional season. Many a club have gone straight through the division to league one trying to do the same. The foundations are in place to take the club forward while we're slowly but surely getting our Rangers back.
I respect people experience it as boring, this being the first season in six where we haven't fought for either promotion or survival, but it is desperately needed after years of mismanagement imo.

I guess I'd settle for a "transitional" season, although with the squad of players we still had on our books, a Wolves like second relegation world have been totally inexcusable for any manager in charge.
Hopefully JFH will conduct a thorough pre-season team rebuilding program and in August we'll emerge in our new shirts as possible top 6 contenders, turning some of those annoying draws into wins, with the team demonstrating some resilience and backbone to hold leads and not cough up all those late goals.
