My first R's game live for over 2 years - it was great to be back especially with a win. Henry scored a pearler and had a very good game. Ingram, Ned, Clint, Hall, and Polter and Hoillet late on, all did well. But Washington was a huge dissapointment - he had space to run at defenders but lost the ball each time, and never won a challenge that I remember. Cole and Gladwin didn't look good enough either sadly. Nor did Petrasso in his short time on the park.

Better game yesterday than I was anticipating, cracking goal from Henry which was a bonus. One thing that is abundantly clear from what I've seen so far, Washington can't play up front on his own. He puts in a great deal of effort [Mackie style] without actually achieving anything. Gladwin was also pretty awful, he did however produce the best comedy moment of the game though when he stood on the ball when attempting to shoot which totally confused the entire Bristol City defense.
Still not sure about El Khayati either, didn't do a great deal yesterday.
Still another season draws to a close and we couldn't be any more mid-table if we tried, which on reflection is about where we deserve to be. For me the bonuses this season have been Smithies, Ingram, Hall, Chery, Faurlin, Kpekawa and to a lesser extent Polter, Henry, Luongo and Petrasso. Not forgetting an excellent debut from Robinson, what is the situation with him?
It will be interesting to see what happen over the summer, soon be August!
