There is no sentiment in any business and those who run things will always do the best deal for themselves. They have made millions each in a short space of time and now they want to cash in and that is good business if they feel they have earned enough for their needs.

No he wont....He knew the deal that was on offer and he accepted it....
Not to sure he did know the deal . Remember , he's dealing with Jenkin's.
Jenkin's probably , casually , put it out there with a wink. that if Guido kept us up . Only to be , probably , lost in translation .
We will be losing a hell of a manager if he goes , just like Laudrup .

I may not be in favour of guildo as manager but he has done his job that he was brought in to do and deserves some sort of reward whether it be financial or i hope not the permanent managers job, However if it is the latter then we have to accept the decision and back him 100% and be seen to back him as any discord will spill on to the pitch and nobody benefits. It's all in the hands of Jenkins so i hope he knows what he is doing and his judgement is the correct one....

£90,000 a week if reports are to be believed, you`re having a laugh. That`s one hell of a catch to spout a load of blarney!

Guidolin has given Jenkins a right old headache Brendan on 90k a week? Really?

Nobody will know what anyone especially the managers wages. The players wont know so how can any fan know. it's a private thing between the manager and the club....If anything is blarney then that is......

Guildo fair play is certainly staking a claim for the job with results like this that's for sure. I hope Jenkins have already made a decision because we need to start working on next season now and to do that the job as manager must be made and announced ASAP. I dont want to see it dragged on and on wasting valuable time into the summer break......

On Rodgers v Guidolin I think Roof makes a valid point. They do come around once in a while <laugh> Kust kidding Roof. <ok>

Guidolin's recent record is very decent indeed and historically he's done well in Italy at taking small teams and making them punch above their weight. I'm still concerned over our awful displays under Guidolin at times but neither can we ignore the fact that Brendan was poor at Liverpool after Suarez left. He spent the money gained very badly indeed. My mate is a Liverpool supporter and he says that was unforgiveable.

As Valley says on another thread a great result next week creates a huge problem (maybe) for Jenkins and the Board.

A couple of good results and very good they were to, yesterdays possibly the best this season and we seem to forget some of the dross we have been served up this season, I think Guidolin has put his hand up for the job and there is now a tricky decision to be made. I believe that the choice of manager may well depend on any take over.

For, as well as he has done there is something I am still not convinced about and I am not sure what it is, but it is there. I do worry he will just go back to Italy and bring in players from their lower clubs and that does worry me, then again as Kiff says, Brendan's record in the transfer market isn't great either.

Whoever is picked as manager I will get behind.

Rodgers name linked with WBA and Celtic again today even though some papers are saying it's already a done deal at ours.

I'm still holding out for Bielsa though:)
