The one we had was fine, better to keep what we had and maintain our identity. Changing to one as boring as this makes the error still worse.

Like it but wish QPR would concentrate more on the important things like winning games and the off the pitch **** goings on for the past 10 years instead of changing the ****ing badge

Madness Oslo! The old one was ridiculous. That absurd crown on the top, I mean really. It was like a naff coat of arms of the type Del Boy might have dreamed up for himself. It just typified our preposterous delusions of grandeur.

New one is a definite improvement on the current one, that bloody horrible football on the top!

A definite improvement on the last badge, and although it's not jaw-droping in it's design, looking forward to seeing how it is implemented on the new Dryworld shirts - hope it's embroidered and not a stupid transfer

"Madness?" The constant tinkering with our identity is madness IMO. " Preposterous delusions of grandeur"? I never saw that. But we had the ambition and drive to reach the PL and play there 3 seasons out of the last 5. Fact. Far better that than the current timidity projected by the Club and loved seemingly by many now with hands being rubbed gleefully at seasons of consolidation building with lower league players. I hope and trust that our Owners realise the need for a more rapid return to the PL, and find the right balance of players and Management to do it. We did it wrong the last time, but are very unlikely ever to do it again without some established Championship and technically good players. Fill the squad with lower League players and that is probably where we will go, complete with a back yard crest. Whoopee...

total idiasy i liked the current badge how insane are qpr fans they think if we change our badge we will play better football only a manager with a proven success record can get us to get out of this division
basically we need two twenty goals a season strikers or we are screwed

The significance of the new badge is that Briatore's last link to the club is gone. For that reason alone it gets a thumbs up from me.

Fast forward to the unveiling of the next new crest and we will be saying the same thing about Fernandes.

Well I love it and think that it was well worth doing. Will look great on our new bespoke design kits I reckon.

    Got my Rangers back.

The current one will always remind me of this horrible little man and his vision of us being a boutique football club, whatever the f*ck that was going to be?

The new one gets a massive thumbs up from me!

I would have been very happy with DT's design but we can keep that for when us the QPR supporters set up AFC QPR!

The reason for this being Tony did a runner and HRMC served us with a winding up order for millions of unpaid tax<whistle>

The only thing the Mittals involvement brought us was Amit Bhatia's day to day running of the club while Flavio had a break from his control freak OCD of sacking managers that never likely had much sway on anything really tbh.

The money which to them is down the back of the sofa spare change bought what was it, a 25/30% stake in most likely one of many dodgy off shore QPR holding companies* and I don't think went into new players or loo rolls, anything useful to us supporters/fans.

Like many agents, players Flavio knew a mug when he saw one and sold up to Tony nice but delusional Fernandes!

Our club has been on life support ever since. The playoff our only glory of this era thus far and still cut adrift at sea.

    * = Sorry, wumming in that little part, sorry could not resist!

Liking the new crest, much better:emoticon-0148-yes:

I like the new crest, although its really just the old pre-tango crest, or hadn't you noticed? I don't think it should distract fans from the lack of training ground/stadium/progress under Fernandes - which is what we would be talking about otherwise following the most boring season for a decade.

From the expression on Briatore's mush, it looks as if you might have given him a massive thumbs up, UTRs.

I like the way that the club have positioned this as a reboot.

New crest heralds a new era.

    Let's hope so.
