QPR999 can you please merge this with the previous thread. The search facility no longer works and I couldn't find it!
Essentially it's the 1982-2008 version without the ribbon on the bottom, so not exactly inspired. But it's simpler, and for that reason in my view, better than the Briatore one it's replacing
Better than current, but overwhelmingly dull. Presumably the background matches whatever colour the badge is put on, so we don't have a horrible iron on blue patch on the Denis the Menace kit.
Lee Hoos says on the Offish that "It's more than a crest". What else can it be? I can see "beermat" ... just. Nothing else comes to mind.
It would take me ages to find it as well sku and I'm a bit short for time today. I think we'll leave this thread to stand on its own merit mate. I'll tidy up your initial post and change it for your subsequent one if that's okay with you. The first picture is a bit uneasy on the eye.
That's what the QPR badge should look like as far as I'm concerned, not that I lost any sleep over the last one.
I am happy to get back the original-ish badge. Although the last one grew on me and at times i didn't even think about it, it never really sat with most fans. It was a Flabio rush job.
The last one was rubbish on the shirt...stuck out like a sore thumb (which incidentally I have)...if this sits better which I think it should... I am a happy bunny...except for my festering thumb...
I'm fine either way as long as it identifies me as a QPR fan. I do think that 2 concentric circles representing The Hoops stretches it a bit but really not that fussed.
I thought this too; and I have a feeling that this element formed part of the candid feedback that TWGWTDT communicated back to Lee Hoos.
