I dont go to games. I havent set foot in the stadium since the name change process was announced. Prior to that I missed about 5 home games in total in 10 years. I'm sure it's had absolutely zero impact, but if 20,000 other people did the same I'm sure it would have total impact.
So you don't buy a ticket that you did previously? Was that a season ticket you gave up or a match by match? Did you ask for a refund on your season ticket when offered?
FFS, why on earth are a few people insisting on having a go at fellow fans instead of the people bringing in this ridiculous scheme? Everyone has to answer to their own concience, not you. Or me. Or HCST for that matter.
Prior to the name change process I provided professional services to the club for free. If I was charging for these services it wouldve been £500 per match. When the name change process started I withdrew these services at £9,500 per season pro rata.
This also protects you with future bubble wrap games. I used my presence in Huddersfield's database to just go in the home end 3 years ago.
No.. you said that some clubs have fans who won't 'queue to see shiny footballers'. If by that you actually meant that they continue to queue to see shiny footballers, but protest on Twitter, then I'm failing to see how that's different to our fans, who do precisely the same thing.
Ah so thats how it works is it, if you don't agree with something and you have a bit of power, delete it
Because a further stage of the Liverpool protest was not to buy the high priced tickets for the new stand. But they got what they wanted before they had to do that.
Ah. Right. So you mean some clubs - like Everton apparently? - threaten to do something but don't do it? Sort of like how the HCST has told supporters not to apply for the new membership scheme?
Very interesting, thanks. So you didn't buy a ticket to give up? You've actually given up nothing. You don't go to games that you didn't pay to go to previously because you was working for free, letting Allam use you. You haven't lost money because you didn't get paid previously. In fact, you had the opportunity to hit him in the pocket by continuing in your role & invoicing him, but declined. Who did they get to replace you? How much does he pay them? Of course he may have just fired you off with the many others he got rid of at the time, but hey, you certainly know how to let the owner know that you're upset with him.
Perhaps OLM is willing to pay a small portion of each of the City players' salaries in order to watch his team play football, as he has done ever since he started watching them ?
Do you give £9,500 of worth professional services to Hull City every season? I dont know the answer to those questions, As I said, I havent been back. . Yes I do as it happens, i was asked on multiple occasions to continue offering my services and I made it clear each time why i refused.
I have friends that sit pitchside west stand with their disabled kids (under 14s) £64 quid last season (which was cheap appreciated) next season confirmed £480 These are kids that have been going for 5-6 years and more. Breaks my heart.
But the truth of the matter is, you haven't given up your match day ticket in protest because you never had one to give up. Yet you are critical of others. You didn't give the club anything but free labour. The value of this labour is what was paid for it not what you say it may have been worth elsewhere.
Yes I did. As (very small) recompense for my services delivered I sat in hospitality for the matches.
