Good Luck <ok>

Caselaw going against you with Automated in that one mlad! The locals shrewdies in Elliots stomping ground are backing this lad im told.Decent form behind Ivan Grozny and the excellent claimer Jack Kennedy is on board.Ultra competative hcapp so Ew territory.Best price 8/1 I expect this lad to shorten and go off favourite come race time.Hope your lad runs well for you.

Yorkhill/Vautour double currently 6/5 with Skybet

Also a Simonsig/Noble Endeavour each way double

Leicester City on the brink. Anyone think of any 5000-1 winners? In any sport?

Best I can remember is Liverpool being 1000/1 to win the Champions League at half time when 3-0 down to Milan. Nothing near 5000/1 though. Some achievement it is and absolutely fantastic for the premier league

Nottingham
3.05 Teosroyal 4-1

This horse was tried in a listed race after winning its maiden and found to be out of her depth, the reason she is of interest today is that she is still only racing from a mark of 82 today and I think that is reasonable. I am also expecting improvement as she has come to Simon Crisford from Clive Brittain, who with the best will in the world was a trainer in decline ove rthe last couple of years before his retirement, where as Crisford is a trainer on the up, one I expect to make his mark in the next two seasons. I feel this horse if fit can take this race and show that 82 is more than lenient.

3.35 Nottingham Dors Law 33/1 caught the eye at Kempton and upped to 10f can show some real improvement in time from a mark of 63. Looks a hot enough handicap tomorrow but he's at the right end of the weights so I'll take a chance e/w that he can be real value. One to keep an eye on whatever happens.

One fairly interesting jockey booking tomorrow 2.35 Nottingham - Uncle Dermot- Brendan Powel has booked the highly talented Chris Hayes for this one ride tomorrow 10/1 on his last two runs looks to have it all to do but is capable on his day and the jockey booking I like a lot

Also one more bit of interesting placing is Wesley Wards runner at bath - New Trier with some American jockey coming over to ride all I know about the horse was it was terrible on debut but sureley was too bad to be true and would be a suprise if he doesn't improve.

Have backed Hendersons runner for this won this 2 years ago of a fairly similar lay off - so runs well fresh and is a decent ew price at 12/1 and on Irish Spring ground will love it - ew doubled him up aswell as a singles with the mighty SIMONSIG too!!

Playing a big double today.
9.10 Wolves. THERTHAAR 4-7 (won on the bridle last week).
6.05 Punchestown. JENKINS 10-11 (watch last run. Has so much in hand).
Pays 3-1. Can't see either losing.

Morning, people. Serious question, I ain’t been frivolous. What do we think of the Punchestown Festival??? Is it ‘all that’??? To me it’s the flat equivalent of ‘Glorious’ Goodwood we throw superlatives at it but scratch below the surface and its full of average races. Also, from a punting perspective with Punchestown you have the added disadvantage that a high proportion of the runners, given its place in the NH calendar, are ‘over the top’ for the campaign. Yet, of course, no-one knows this until after the beast has run!

Anyway, nothing for me but I have given instructions to ‘open the vault’. Mr Henderson has put ARGOCAT in 2 races on the level on Saturday (Gooders and Donny). As I’ve said before, off 75, he looks hugely favoured. Potentially the biggest bet of the year to date.

Good luck to those wagering today.

Is there anyone in the country who didn’t back Leicester at that 5,000/1?!? You can’t pick up a paper or turn on the old magic tellybox, right now, without some account of how someone has won big!

Nope, and all those who say they had a piece of it (as mentioned above), would, if they were on this forum, keep BostonBob's ALERT ALERT ALERT franchise very busy?

Leicester winning the league is fantastic to see as it sticks two very large fingers up to huge money, world class players and the 'grab all we can' mentality the biggest clubs have. On the other side of the coin its also indicative of how ****e the Premier League now is! Fully expect Real Madrid to destroy City tonight.

Struggling to find a bet a Punchestown, all too short and most heading to the well 3 times in a short space of time. Think it will be very informative as to where a few are likely to go next season.

Would have to agree there, as long as you include Liverpool in your assessment?.............<whistle>,.............just kidding!

Erm, perhaps you and your Irish colleagues could supply a few winners at Punchestown, it would be much appreciated. I managed a frigging last but one place (I think) yesterday so I badly need help. Thank you! <doh>
