Tempo Mac. Never heard of the horse but could be called the winner some way out, going ominously well.

    Glad I'm not betting.

I thought Ruby looked to be riding a touch gingerly? Still feeling his injury?

Fascinating race this 2 mile Champion Chase at Punchestown - Vautour back in trip (always thought he was a Champion Hurdle horse, much better hurdler than Faugheen), Special Tiara and Gods Own to keep him honest and of course the flying grey Simonsig, would love to see him put in a big performance.

Ryanair is his trip. Won't win a Gold Cup.

Crikey lads on the way back from work and seen that there's been a couple of Earthqukes at Punchestown already.

    Great run Simonsig though!

I can't imagine him running in that donkey derby next year. He is not two miler and he is not as good right handed. Whether he he can stay 3m 2 around Cheltenham is unknown but he can't have become a bad horse over night.

Vautour being ruined by connection's embarrassment of riches. Ruby reckons Willie is the best placer of an horse in the business. Well Vautour's placement today, 2 miles on a right handed track suggests that may be complete bollox.

Rich Ricci on ATR has it spot on - Vautour is a 2m4f / 2m5f horse. I guarantee he will be in the Ryanair next year.

Can't wait for Jenkins in the next at Punchestown. No sort of price though. Noel Meade's Moulin A Vent might offer a bit of e/w value.

Vautour hasn't proved he doesn't stay yet and until he does he's a serious Gold Cup contender next season. As Doalittle said, one poor run matters little especially when almost everything was against him today regarding track/trip.

Cracking efforts by God's Own and Simonsig. Imagine Simonsig was with Willie

Hard to do the 3 Festivals boys don't forget. Took Sprinter 2 years to get over it. On the Fringe done it last year mind you, and 2 thirds off the way there this time...

Il have me a little dabble on the Noel Meade-Patricia Hunt colours in the bumper- they've had a quiet year and it would be nice if they found a good young horse to go to war with next year.

Moulin A Vent is the name.

The Irish are usually pretty tough to beat in these although Jenkins was impressive.
