Is FSG's overall business model..a Strategic fit....or a Financial fit.I'm refering to Diversification here.
Why is it that they can operate in so many different areas,they need a document by law in order to do so.What is it called?
 
I love the fact that even though you're discussing economics and other non-football related things, KPR still turns the discussion into a dig about a certain team.

I don't know. I'll admit that. You never seem to be able to do that though, covering any shortfall with babble.

Wrong.
An example of a company attempting to create a monopoly would be British Airways attempting to by Virgin Airlines,as they are in the same aviation market(Transatlantic) and in the same country.Thus one having all the market share.
Strategic intent on the otherhand is British Airways buying Quantas.Quatas is in Australia and they are in the same aviation market thus not attempting to take over the entire market share.
 
No, you're wrong KPR. You need a board with squares around it and names of train stations, and loads of paper money. Then you buy all of said stations, like Jezz says.

Also, you've basically described strategic intent and monopoly as the same thing. You used the phrase 'in the same aviation market' to describe both companies that BA might buy.
 
I wasn't refering to the game monopoly,I was refering to a business monopoly ie something that under competition laws is not allowed and is also something Merseyside had in the league from May 1982- May 1989...where the league title didn't go anywhere else.
Liverpool,1982,1983,1984,1986,1988.
Everton.1985,1987.

Is business monopoly like a special edition where you play with briefcases and various stationery items instead of the dog, hat, car etc.?
