David Beckham actually failed Sesame Street. Which isn't surprising as when he was with Real Madrid he wanted the number shirt, but someone else had it,they however told him that if he took the number 23 shirt that it would be the same as the digits made 7...and he believed them.
B4F. Sunk costs. Well interest repayments are sunk costs, you keep paying them without going anywhere. They will exist whether or not you make money or not.Similar to leasing ie premises, machinery etc, however with machinery or other current assets, they depreciate and can be written off over an agreed period. However interest repayments can't.Another sunk cost is rent. As for Vertical integration.Well Man United fans would be against this as they believe that the premier league shouldn't be competitive in other words they should have a monopoly thus their philosophy that they and they only should sign players,How dare anyone else spend money. When they do its ''good business'' when anyone else does...its ridiculed. Its also ''How dare anyone except Manchester United win trophies''.When they win trophies..they are major trophies..when anyone else does..they are worthless. The monopoly shall be Manchester United. If you are not a Manchester United fan..you are scum,Manchester United are the greatest club in the universe because Paul Scholes has ginger hair and Manchester United fans said so.
Anybody been watching dynamo magician impossible? The guy is incredible. Some of the most amazing and impossible to explain things I've ever seen. If you haven't seen it, find a link. You won't regret it.
I tried reading your post, I really did, but after the first line all I could hear in my head was Charlie Brown's teacher "wah wah.. wah wah wah.. wah wah".
Yeah that was amazing but his butterfly stunt tonight topped it for me. Pretty much everything he does is incredible though.
I only hear wah wah wah wah..when Man United fans open their mouth. They are forever making up excuses. The best one and this is a corker ''Well at least we earnt the right to get thrashed by Barcelona''.
Vertical intergration is the prevention of Cartels and any person with more than one braincell would know that Cartels are anti competition. Thus more concerned with monopolies. In other words, people that think they have a divine right to everything..and nobody else does. In football we have one example..its called Manchester United fans.In their warped little minds and they are small. They are the bestest club in the universe. When other clubs hope to be successful, they arrogantly say.....they will be,and if they aren't its someone elses fault..and not their own. They are also full of excuses. B4F. They are also sunk, because whether or not,you make money..you have to pay them, and you don't get value for them, similar to paying rent on a flat. Its sunk.
It's not my fault that intellectual answers are wasted on KPR, I'm just going to try a new approach to see if he understands, kind of like training a chimp.
I always thought that vertical integration was the growth through acquisition of a related company either ahead or behind you in the chain of production and could be either forwards vertical or backwards vertical. That is based no what i learned at school which was a while ago now though.
At least you were discussing financial considerations and accountancy practice. Let's not go into the dream world of sink costs in realtion to macroeconomic theory
