.. your opinion ... watching Vardy every week mine, with some confidence, is that he is always looking to get in front of defenders and that involves going across them if that is the way to goal ...it is a huge part of his game ... and why he has scored so many goals this season ..

Diving's a big part of his game? You said that, not me! <laugh>

Running in front of them and across their path is a legitimate tactic. It either gets him in on goal or they'll foul him.
Deliberately initiating contact and going down is not the same thing.
That's what he did against West Ham and in that Man Utd gif that you've all ignored.

Come off it! All players do that. Forwards as well as backs. Had Vardy felt any attempt to pull him back, he would have reflected that in his dive.

You're clutching at straws again. He dived, got caught, and got the second yellow.

He cannot expect the defender to get out of his way just because he wants to cut in front. He was never, ever far enough in front to justify trying to cut across. So, he initiated contact, dived, and hoped Moss would buy it. He didn't!

I'll just post this one last time and see if any of the Leicester posters will address it.
    Is this a dive?

    Interesting commentary, by the way.

We'be told you a thousand times.

Vardy hasn't just thrown himself to the floor. His legs have tangled with Ogbonna's as a result of Vardy trying to get across the defender to shield the ball.

It's clear to everyone without an agenda against Leicester.

I imagine tomorrow given that Vardy has until 6pm tonight to appeal.

So the commentators have an agenda against Leicester, then?

  15. But as CM observed - this trait to his game was BEFORE he arrived at Spurs and in fact was an exemplary professional with us. In fact made the diving issue a self-denigrating point of humor.

Pity these twats don't actually work out the facts before posting......

Not necessarily, but the story they told of Vardy idiotically throwing the chance for 3 points away keeps people watching.

I should have expected you to be a pedant, really.

How's that pedantic? You claimed that anyone who thinks that's a dive has an agenda against Leicester.
Both commentators not only think that it's a dive, but they're expecting him to get sent off for it before the card's produced.
Have you ever considered that it's actually you that's being blinded by your agenda?

Well, it is clear to me that Vardy is a dirty cheating so and so and a habitual diver. Suarez was the same kind of cheat but fortunately he only managed to cheat his way to second place, we can only hope justice is served and the same fate befalls Vardy.

I was talking about people on here. The commentators can't be trusted for an opinion because they will always swing things to suit their own agenda (keeping people watching).

I can't help but feel that this is a pretty useless argument. You know that it's not a dive, you'd just like think that'll is. I suppose it makes you feel better?
