Reading over the last few pages of this thread certainly reminds me of something, namely...

Have i really made it that obvious? <laugh>

Seriously though, this goes way beyond my personal vendetta against the fairytale princesses. If a player - any player for that matter, I'd be saying the same thing if it was a Spurs player - admitted a charge of improper conduct, which in context was reportedly calling an official a 'f***ing cheating c*nt', failing to punish such behaviour brings the integrity of the sport into disrepute and sets a dangerous precedent that could rapidly lead us back to the dark days of the late-90's of Roy Keane, Stam, Neville and co. swarming bulgy-eyed around a referee shouting profanities and threats every time he has the temerity to award a throw-in against them. I was a bit surprised at the way the BBC presented this turn of events (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36099274):

"By admitting the charge, Vardy, who has requested a personal hearing, could be given an additional suspension to his current one-match ban."

Requested a personal hearing?! What the f*ck for? Has he also 'requested' Roy Hodgson, Gary Lineker and Robbie Savage to sit on the panel?!

Could be given an additional suspension?! Could?! Try 'will'!

As Han Solo once said to Obi Wan Kenobi; 'I have a bad feeling about this'...

    Hate to disappoint you.

It's going to be a 1 match ban for the red card (disgraceful decision) and a 1 match ban for his actions (rightly so).

You misread my post. I'm completely fine with a 1 game extension. It's the various insinuations in the media that it might be a 0 game extension due to this 'personal hearing' he has 'requested' that I am absolutely not completely fine with.

Good seeing those South Londoners back to their best, two dives in the space of two minutes.

Jamie Vardy pleads guilty to a charge of improper conduct following his sending off against West Ham.

    When asked, Leicester fans commented:

"This is a farce. What does he know about it? Vardy didn't do anything wrong, did he?"

"Complete nonsense. This admission is a frame-up. When Vardy is found not guilty, we'll win the league."

"It's a joke, this Jamie bloke has pleaded guilty when we all know Vardy did nothing wrong!"

"Where's Roy Hodgson when we've paid for him? This Vardy bloke has let Jamie down"

It's like Chelsea FC without the postcode.

"Rashford is not ready for United's first team, according to boss Louis van Gaal. The teenager has scored seven goals in 13 appearances." - (Manchester Evening News).

Am I the only that just finds this weirdly funny? The second comment is sort of implying to me "mate, you sure about that? Look at the kid's record since breaking through...".

Rashford's literally kept LVG in a job these past couple of months and yet according to the Dutchman he's not ready for the first team, wonders will never cease with this bloke. As each passing day goes, I feel so lucky that we dodged a huge ****ing bullet with him.

What I love about the Vardy Man Utd clip, is that he was strong enough
to hand off Rafael outside the box, but went down like a powder puff at
the slightest contact IN the box. :D

Could be a case of bi-polar disorder there.

If he's not ready, then why the **** does he keep picking him?
He doesn't even agree with himself anymore! <laugh>

    Bloke sounds a right bellend.

It's funny that he mentions that Dele and Eric aren't "one of our own" - which is fair enough - but then uses Izzy Brown - whom they signed from West Brom - as an example of one of Chelsea's own. He fails to mention Mason, plus Josh who's played about 15 games this season too and if it weren't for Pritch's injury he'd also be an example. So if he's allowing himself to use Izzy as an example of one of Chelsea's, then Danny and Kyle were both signed young and nurtured through to the first team via U21's and loans.

    EDIT: Bentaleb too!

Several years of wondering what the point of his job is, given the last first team player to graduate from Chelsea's youth system was John Terry - and that was back in 1998. In comparison, here's the list of first team players to graduate from our youth team since 1998: Ledley King, Harry Kane, Andros Townsend, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, Steven Caulker, Tom Carroll, Josh Onomah (and that's being polite, since Dean Marney and Johnnie Jackson can be added to the list)

As for his comment about buying players, not only does the above list completely disprove what he's blathering about (while also sparing him having Danny Rose thrown at him), but he really should be making those comments about his own club given the Chavs' practice of hoovering up prospects from around the world and loaning them out for seasons on end because that's a second road block for anyone from their academy moving into the first team.

And we also promoted the likes of Caulker and Townsend. Alright they moved on, but they played in our first team as regulars at one stage

Could it be that Moussa Dembele has told Chelsea he doesn't want to play in Holland?
