How Olympiakos has been mythologised into a special European night I will never know. It was Olympiakos FFS

Probably because we went on to win the cup!

Plus it was such an incredible goal in the final seconds. You obviously remember it well!

    :D

Yeah, Klopp has achieved more with Pool than LvG has with United, in less time, with a ****ter team, and with no budget.
    Props for that too.

Yes, Klopp has done OK with a poor squad. If they win EL, they will have had a much better season than United

    achieve what ?
at least LVG made us 4th last season ... so far Klopp did nothing better...
and if we are talking about achievements with small budget , let us talk about Leicester who had new manager as well this season ... let us talk about WestHam with a new manager as well

Aye, fair play to them having a bit of a boast about it - they haven't had much to hang their hat on in recent years so they need to jump on anything they can get. Personally I think Klopp is a good manager and have always said he's superior to LVG. Although I appreciate that it the definition of the phrase 'damning with faint praise' ;)

But interesting to see there's been no real bounce in the league for them, which is usually where a midseason managerial change will have an impact during the honeymoon phase. Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens for them next season, when Klopp's novelty wears off and he has more of a chance to put his stamp on the squad.

    They have decent teams.
    Liverpools squad is bad.
    BAAAAAAAAAAADDD.
Like maybe 3 players worth a **** and one of them is perenially injured.
Sturridge, Coutinho and maybe Henderson are the only players in there who aren't dog ****.

I didn't say they had achieved more than Leciester or West Ham anyway, just more than United.
Don't forget, Liverpool will be in the CL next season if they win the Europey League as well.

To be honest, right now, that was probably the easiest draw they could get.
I rank Atletico and Bayern above Real at the moment.

Yes, I thought they would do better in the league, but Rodgers left K with an unbelievably poor squad

I was right wasn't I ? I said unless Dortmund **** it up, they should go through easily. What did they do against a mediocre side ? Having got to 2-0 and even 3-1 they didn't learn their lesson. They just didn't shut up shop and defended properly. Their attitude was if you score we'll score again. Obviously a **** strategy which they have lived to regret.

Nothing in that melodramatic finish convinces that this fairly average side will go through without a heavy dollop of luck. As usual. And the reaction after beating a side which beat itself was like winning the real treble of FA, the CL and the premiership.

Liverpool squad are very good individually.. for GOD sake is same team ( except suarez) that almost win the league 2 seasons ago, and u reinforced yourself more , addling alike of Lallana, Can, Clyne, Milner, Firmino, Benteke ..etc .. yes some are rubbish in liverpool now but remember not first time a player shine elsewhere and flop when join you, lots of reasons, expectation, stupid managers clueless on how to balance attacking with defending duties or not using best system to fit the players.. am sure many of players in westHam if gone to Liverpool they will flop too like happened to those players before when they joined you... so is not a QS of quality
anyway .. our targets are different we want to be the best, and you are modest just want to be ahead of us .. we are in 2 different class obviously .. and unfortunately even with all injuries and having an idiot like LVG, we still above you on the table

The Rat carried the whole team including the manager. It is only now that the deludeds are willing to admit to this. A lucky win last night over a German side which taken leave of their senses, does not suddenly make this team a good one. The table doesn't lie and despite all the hype kloppyflop has got the same number of points per game as Rodgers.

Bayern are beatable under Pep ..we seen it with juv and many times, even with Benfica was not that easy forward
agree on Atletico they are tough to play against them, but they do well but at end they lose ..yes they are overall very hard to beat ..so they kept it 50-50 till the end
but none of them have the attacking power of Real tbh .. I still rate Real more .. individually they have many keys players to make the difference
