Cracking performances from Cue Card and Annie Power, what was up with Nichols canyon's jumping ? Katie to follow up Ruby's win next Current Event 10 e/w
No, and i don't have any allegiance to CC or DC. It's just a fact and although DC did run in all three Festivals last year he ran in a much weaker race at Cheltenham than CC did this year.
I'd be surprised if Nicholls Canyon hasn't picked up a muscle strain very early in the race today. Every jump looked like he had a problem.
Mullins has picked up about 190 grand in win and place prize money today, putting him only about 60 grand behind Nicholls in the trainers championship. Vautour and Limini to come tomorrow .................................
Always hard to back up your Cheltenham form at Aintree as we've already seen but I'm hopeful ON THE FRINGE can actually improve on his laboured win and is now becoming a pretty decent price for this.
Cue Card didn't even finish at Cheltenham this year, so interns of exerting himself he didn't have a tough race so the difficulty of the race is irrelevant. As everyone keeps saying he was still on the bridle. We all know what will happen at Punchestown, even you do, hence why the excuses are coming in anticipation.
Going Championship pace for 3 miles isn't an exertion? Isn't a tough race? HAHHAHAHHAHHAHHHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHHHAHHHHAHAHHAHHAH
Can you just hear Willie go all Nicholls on us tomorrow after picking up a big pot and talk about blowing him out of the water (Nicholls post GN winning speech in reference to Hendos title challenge in 2012)... No neither can I
Give over lads, was a completely different race, and track today. Let's just enjoy the races for what they are rather than petty point scoring. Let them clash at Punchestown and just hope they both stand up.
Brahms De Clermont 3/1 Taunton 6.10 - Nicholls French bred runner should make a good showing on his debut here and a big run is expected today.
You have to simply take your hat off to Enda Bolger - year after year after year he produces these horses Clonbanan Lad running a stormer when breaking down badly and pulling up .................. fingers crossed he is OK, didn't look good though
Seems to be the opposite this year...a lot of horses showing improved displays from Cheltenham bit of a head scratcher isn't it.
I was stirring earlier too all In good heart mind. Anybody got a clue for the 4.40...The more I look at the less I know
