There has been a rather interesting sale at the Aintree sales today. Black Thunder, trained by Paul Nicholas, has been sold for €90,000. The horse is interesting as he is number 33 in the field for the Grand National. Supposedly he was bought by a syndicate lead by Robert Wiley-Cohen.

Just shows what a top rider she is really. Not riding a wet week and still upstaging the likes of Mr.Biddick on the big stage <whistle> <run>

Devastating performance by CC - no doubt whatsoever in my mind he would have pissed the GC. Even Stevie Wonder can see that.

Nevermind, he will beat up DC in his own back yard to put an end to all the nonsense.

Apologies if this is a stupid question but wouldn't it be dangerous to ride a horse for the first time at the National ?

Don't know how relevant it is but Apple's Jade (easing up and winning by a street) completed the 2m 1f hurdle half a second faster than the bumper (tight finish). AJ carrying 7lb less but is only a 4yo.

Yep lovely that the dentist's daddy can find that much down the back of the sofa. Meanwhile Gavin Sheehan gets to watch it all from the stands having got jocked off.
