He's old, his body won't be able to cope. He'll spend more time injured than anything. He's hardly even done anything for a poor West Brom side either. Does he ever play?
People who think people over a certain age will automatically not be able to stay fit are ridiculous. Has Chester played much for a poor West Brom side? Pulis plays one up top which at the moment is Rondon, and they have Berahino as back up.
No, not at all. Just quoting football manager as I do for all my footballing knowledge. Don't you know it's all I do everyday?
It's not ridiculous it's a fact. Maloney and Dawson go some way to prove it. Maloney more so, who is very comparable. Hardly did **** all at his previous club, too old, on the decline and always picking up soft tissue injuries.
Maloney is a winger who relies on pace and is therefore more susceptible to soft tissues. CBs and keepers don't need to be as agile.
The wings are probably the lightest workout away from defence. Lambert is a striker with probably the highest demand, specially if he's playing up top alone. He's very susceptible to soft tissue injuries, specially at his age. He's an old past it bench warmer. Waste of money.
Since he'd be on loan he wouldn't cost any money.. Unlike Diomande and Maloney who combined cost almost 3m.
We would cost a lot in wages which would be better utilised strengthening for our promotion push next season.
If OLM wants to claim Diomande cost us nothing because he was 'only' 1m then I'm not going to suggest Lambert's wages are preposterous.
