TWF here we go again same **** different message board its only a rumour about ash at the moment. yet why let that get in the way of slagging the management off you boring twat
Ash can't play til he's 70 (Just started questioning myself about that statement) so he's going to go sometime soon. We may as well get it out of the way now. move on and make sure we hit the floor running next season. I bets something along those lines is going through NP's mind. He's been a great captain for the club, possibly the best ever.
I seriously never ever ever thought I would see Ash play for another club .... may not yet I suppose.
I used to view the Hull Online Board so therefore read your threads. Everyone has an opinion as have you. My opinion is that you do not genuinely support Hull City as you are at loggerheads with 99% of the board. You also claim to be a student yet seem to have no intelligent grasp of what has happened to the club since the financial side sunk and what was required to turn it around. If you don,t like the club get your coat.
The guy can't run anymore, honestly think this season will be his last of first team football, at any club. Despite people having written him off and him coming back before...just don't see it this time
Exactly. Im sure if he played for PNE and came back and scored against us, we'd all cheer him. Possibly. Point is, he's a City legend, he's done more than anyone for us over the past few years but there comes a point in footy where you have to say enough is enough, and if that means he carrys on playing for someone else for a year or two, good luck to him. We need to start preparing for the future, which is exactly what NP is doing.
yeh i've heard that rumour themaclad, it'll be very strange seeing him play for another club but i suppose we need to move on and learn how to cope without. It was going to happen one way or another. As for what you're getting, you can expect to see a 5th defender popping up when the other team goes on the break, his sheer commitment to getting back for cover at the back when the attack loses the ball is one of his best aspects. Amazing leader on the pitch, just don't expect him to pass the ball to anyone further than 5ft away.
So many so called HULL CITY supporters and not one of you have noticed that Nigel Pearson is our manager and IF ash goes our captain will be Harpoer...simples not my choice at all but so obvious
only midfielder we currently have who id put money on winning a 50/50 tackle...would be a mistake letting him go until at least the summer and he can be replaced like for like..
Tbh I don't think I'd feel the same about the club if Pearson got rid of Ashbee. He deserves a testimonial at the very least, his years of service and leadership have proved invaluable in each of promotion campaigns and our great escape. In fact I'd be hugely offended if Ashbee didn't stay here until he retired. If Pearson gets rid then I'm afraid I won't be able to continue supporting the club as I currently do.
its ashbee's choice to leave at the end of the day, no-one can force him out and he's still guaranteed a starting spot at the moment, hes going to have to play for a new contract if he was to stay, maybe hes been offered 18 months now from there, no idea.
while that contract was ott..i didnt mind it as much as others.....if theres one player that deserves to made a millionaire by city, its him..much more so then mcshane and kilbane!
