I can't see Guido taking the job without assurances that if we stayed up , he would remain in charge next season , if your dream was to manage in the Premier would you take the job without those assurances ? .Nope , he's here for next season imoI get what you say, I just don't see Guidolin making the changes Curtis did on Saturday (I may be wrong). Especially as he took Paloschi off. Curtis for me could see we were going nowhere with the negative way we were set up and introduced a bit of pace and we did improve in the second half and looked more threatening. You are right in that Guidolin may have done the same, I just doubt it. As for him being in here in the summer, I have seen a slight improvement from Monk, what I have also seen is a completely negative attitude in the way he sets us up and approaches a game. This has been ok this year as we had to make ourselves harder to beat. with the predicament we were in, I love his enthusiasm.
I hope he is nowhere near us next season, he is to negative and trying to get a point every game rather than going for a win. It will be a long boring season if he remains. But it is all about opinions and no doubt some will want him and some wont. I think there is better out there for us. I may well be wrong and jinks has already sorted him for next year.
All managers would struggle coming into someone else's team with 16 games left within a relegation battle .
We got a lotta breaks getting our last 6 points , I wanna see changes this weekend no matter who's in charge...Fer , Barrow , Montero .......these guys need to be tried before our luck starts running out .
