I'd love Bony back with us but I just can't see that happening. More likely he'd end up at Everton,Liverpool or Leicester than us I think.

He is for sale, but we will never be the highest bidder as suggested, He should have stayed put or we should have made more of an effort to get him in January on loan.

Alan has already stated that Guido picked the team etc, but that he had the power to change things once the game started.
Twice Alan has changed things, and as a result of his decisions, we have picked up 6 points from our last two games,

Exchanging Fer with Fulton was hardly a master stroke in subbing against Arsenal valley , I'm sure if Arsenal came back most would be having a go about lack of and wrong subbing .
We played not great against Arsenal , but ....."The Unluckiest Team " in the league didn't hit the Arsenal woodwork , but law of average caught up and Arsenal hit our 3 times .
In the Norwich game , you might find one or two fans that wouldn't have brought Fer on as a sub .
And Curtis would be the first to tell you we played poor before and after the subs ...... We got lucky .
It's going to take time for Guido and his sidekick Curtis to totally get our house in order , but they will .
We're just using our lucky card at the moment because our unlucky card is overdrawn .
If your looking for unsung heros these last 6 points you don't have to look further that Routledge , his great goal against Arsenal stunned Arsenal into short circuiting most of the rest of the game .
And his good play prior to Siggy's goal against Norwich played a huge part .

This is very sad to say, but here goes and I know probably all of you will disagree with me, I would rather go down and have a manger who wants to play football rather than turning into a Pulis' WBA or an Alladyces Sunderland rather than watch the anti football we are being served up at the moment, a full season of that will see our attendances dropping.

I would have agreed with you a few years ago, but if we turn into a defensive boring long ball side, then numbers will dwindle. This season we have watched the worse football I have ever seen at the Liberty. I used to look forward to going to a game to watch us play with flair and hopefully win and give it a go and not sit back. Now I am bored at nearly every game, I still get excited if we attack, but as I sit in the south stand I have seen precious little of that and it is not just Guidolin it has been the whole season, but things haven't changed since his appointment.

I may be wrong but when I pay out my money every year I hope to be entertained, which in all fairness I have always been up to this one. I would seriously consider not renewing if the football was to continue with the mind numbingly boring way it is now for another season.

I'm with TLF, at least in part. I genuinely think it's different if you're watching on TV. No offence to anyone by saying that. Making the effort to go to games on a wet and windy afternoon is different, and the least we can expect is that the team entertains us. I sat through the Sousa era, and although it wasn't entirely his fault I was bored to tears and often thought of staying at home.

Our fabulous rise (to me at least) means nothing if we betray what we are as a Club, and that includes playing entertaining possession-driven football with teeth. At times it's been a pleasure to watch my team over the years and then watch pundits drool over our style on TV later. Would I rather be in the Championship? No. But would I rather see us playing that way again? Hell yes.

Nothing like watching Leicester being pressed back under pressure and then counter teams to death , stunning them into shock really .
Or the " Old " West Ham team that " Hoofed " balls in our box and beat us at will . Worked fantastic against us , totally respect that " Way "
I would love to see " The SwanseaWay " of playing but will,take any "Planned " way to play if it keeps us up and competitive .
We have a great bunch of players , getting THE RIGHT GUY to find the strengths of each player and building a " Team " in that direction seems the way to function best .
The " Swansea Way " is sort of a myth to most players on the team these days and demanding them to play it doesn't get the best out of them .
I think Guido is that guy and we could all guess at what kinda team he would field next August and probably all be wrong .

"The " Swansea Way " is sort of a myth to most players" - but not to the fans. Maybe they should learn. We've always hired managers to fit with the Swansea Way and players too, not the other way around. Maybe not doing so recently has been the problem.

I'm glad you're confident about Guidolin. I'm still not convinced. We may scrape over the line but he's not the guy to take us forward.

Having watched them for years in the lower divisions I wouldn't want to go down under any circumstances. However, I also would hope that if a manager doesn't play football which is enjoyable to watch he wouldn't last long.

I'm admitting that you're admitting it's a horror .Now that it's sorta apparent we will stay up , for the first time I'm excited for the first time since Laudrup's sacking about getting back to " The Swansea Way " of off field activities , on field is optional .
A manager who knows what he wants and a chairman that helps him achieve it .......regardless of tactics would be great . I like the " Guido , Curtis Jenkins " connection , each good for each other ( It seems anyways ) and hope it continues in the future .
In the middle of the season and a relegation battle and 3 separate managers ....getting 19 points from 14 games since Curtis , then Guido took over , is miraculous achievement regardless of tactics

I'd prefer to debate the masterstroke in taking Ki off half time and bringing Gylfi on v Arsenal. That was a master stroke.
