Slow start to Season 4 House of Cards but it's picking up by Episode 3.

Thought it was watchable, but not brilliant, with a few funny moments. I'll give it another go as it might be a slowburner and improve.

If you weren't around when it was first released it's understandable. I can still watch it today and find it enjoyable bcos it evokes that original buzz the film had when it was released. It was very much a new idea and something that captured the world's imagination/excitment at the time. From the characters, script, soundtrack, actors involved and most importantly the original premise... which was novel at the time.

Two films that particular year iirc had a similar effect.. Ghostbusters and then Gremlins.

oh yes... Ferris Bueller, Breakfast Club, Planes Trains Automobiles, Weird Science (kelly le brock btw :emoticon-0152-heart)

Think he lost it in the 90's though.

Hughes, John Landis, Rob Reiner, Robert Zemeckis defined the 80's teen cinema phenomenon. Great great films!!

By the way...finally got round to Spectre...nice nod to On Her Majesty's Secret Service (a much maligned bond film because of the seventies camp but great sound track..decent story and great stunts)

Bit Flabby but some great bits. Thought Waltz was too Bardem..

And C was too stereotypical Tory Boy.

The most "Bond" of Craig's films. Skyfall still his best.
