That he should have made himself available. Perhaps he did and wasn't selected still, but I'd imagine not.

... and I suppose you're going to tell us next, he's not entitled to a couple of months paternity leave for bonding purposes.

I suspect JFH planned to play with out him
    ......as any sensible manager would.

Suspect he will be back on Tuesday..

    No drama.
    Simple use of a squad...

When 4000 people have travelled I just think the bloke should have been there. I'm sure he still picked up his £50k for not working this week.

I don't really care which player it is. It's just become a thing over the last few years and I'm not sure why. She popped the sprog out on the Friday so he essentially missed a few hours of a load of aunties cooing over a sleeping baby.

My son was born at 5.00 in the morning in the NHS hospital in which I worked at the time, after a long labour which finished with an emergency Caesarian section. Got home at 9.00 in the morning, within 5 minutes my boss was on the phone saying congratulations and please go to a meeting at 10.30 with GPs to negotiate a contract. I went to the meeting, told the GPs they could have whatever they wanted, went home to bed and resigned about 6 weeks later (other factors were at play to be fair). I stayed at that place for about 10 months. With my current company, a nasty American global corporation, every major life event, family crisis, health issue etc has been greeted with 'take as long as you want, don't think about work, do you need any help,or support?' I have been with them for 15 years, 3 times longer than I have stayed in any other job in 33 years of work.

    You reap what you sow.

Just watched the highlights on Player. How the ref and his officials gave them two pens and missed the brilliant two handed save is absolutely ridiculous.
