Regardless of last night, Rowett has done an outstanding job there and comes across very well. It wouldn't be a huge surprise if someone like Villa or Derby tried to nick him in the summer.
Can't they take him now, before it's too late? "Just lacked the end product. FACT." Yep, you've nailed it. .
Considering £1.5m for Fabbrini was the only significant fee he's paid in the two seasons he's been at Birmingham and he's still put together a competitive team, I'd say he's definitely up there with the best managers in the league.
Yes he's done very well on a modest budget but to suggest he's a better manager (yet) than SB is comedy gold. His team were very lucky against us, it's not as if they gave us a lesson.
I think Rowett has done an amazing job at Birmingham - spent hardly any money, lost his best player and deals with a squad of loanees, veterans and former championship players who have dropped down to League One. His first-choice centre-back is nearly 40 as well.
and also thinks his arm is at the side of his body when actually at 45 degrees, mind you so did the referee by all accounts ****ing muppet
Did we piss on them yes or no? Was he outthought by SB that day? All this and Alex wasn't even on the pitch, so credit where credit's due please.
SB has never out-thought anybody and that's a fact - at least he's finally agreed with me that Junior shouldn't be playing so I will give him credit for that
correct me if I'm wrong, but one of the fundamental points in out thinking someone is that you actually win
