I'm dreading seeing Huddlestone in midfield tonight from the start. I just don't trust Bruce. He will keep Meyler on the bench & partner Livermore with Huddlestone. Bruce recently found a winning formula by partnering Livermore with Meyler but Meyler now seems to be dropped & Huddlestone is back in. He was ineffectual for 60 mins against Brighton & same thing will happen again tonight. We need Meyler's aggression & drive in midfield. Livermore plays better with him. We can all see that except Bruce for some reason? I hope I'm made to eat my words & Meyler is on from the start.

Meyler wasn't playing great before Hudds came in. He went through a period of good form, but typical of his city career he hasn't kept up the fantastic performances and faded a little. This was probably down to Bruce not resting him when he should've done, but either way I'd have Hayden in over Huddlestone.

It was a winning formula until it became a losing formula.

Huddlestone came in to the team and had a good game against Blackburn. He was the only one trying anything to break Brighton down and was easily the best player on the pitch til he was subbed off. We were dog **** on Saturday, Huddlestone came on and created the only two chances we had to score in 90 minutes.

Come off it daft ****, you sound like a moron with a vendetta.

Hayden has been very underwhelming in every single appearance. Never mind harsh on him ive no idea why he's still here, he's nowhere close to our level yet. Maybe if n a year or two but not now.

I know they're a smaller City
Im 100% certain that if we didn't have the 2 Rugby teams we,d be the sold out signs up quite regular.

They're not well attended though either are they? I don't think they make much difference. Other clubs in smaller cities than us have competition from nearby football clubs which is much more significant than our RL sides.

The issue is that so many people in this City don't watch live sport. There's loads of people who say when asked that they support one or any combination of the three teams but don't actually ever go. It's a huge untapped market.

I predict Christophe "Hands" Berra will commit around 30 fouls tonight and probably get away with all of them. He manhandles forwards week after week and most refs let him.

Humberside switching between Grimsby (1-0 up 3 1/2 mins )and City.

Any better online commentary links please?
