The basic game premise was like old books I used to have.

Choose your own adventure. I had kai and magnakai books series as a kid.

You had to choose different routes and you could end in tears or get through.

Then there was the prisoner tv show and the older got that.

then there were 3 levels in the clues. Doctor, detective and dead.

The whole thing was the dead could choose their own options. If the looked at a death they could see all that occurred and gradually would see which guard did it.

The doctor and detective needed their own clues each from a death and could win objects to power up.

Both missed the gun.

There were red herrings involved.

So it was kind of that simple.

If you got a clue you worked it. I don't know if I hid too much but there you go it was a go at it.

Can someone explain in basic terms what the Acolyte was please as I'm genuinely not sure?

You were a junior serial killer who worshipped the real serial killer and we're going to join his team if he got 3 kills.

Tennis targeted the same people twice that the guards did.

Each time his rage built. He ended with two kills.

He was close to a spree guys... he switched late to style and mikey.

You and Astro both played a blinder. I had you both down as town on days 1 and 2. Wasn't so sure on astro after day 3 and had my doubts about you but came back to thinking you were town again today!

I was getting ready to turn on Astro when you and tennis had the conversation about one of your innocent reads changing... Was getting ready to throw Astro under the bus <laugh>

Thought we did well as a team, the guards and our hidden warden lol

Everything is well done the guards but when you mention they're 'almost major **** up' is mafia <doh>

I had no control over them nearly choosing to kill their warden!

At one point i thought it was you but then Penfold posted on the main thread at the same time as your messages on the QT board like 3 times in a row and both you and Penfold fit my criteria for narrowing it down lol at that point I figured we were safe to kill you and Nolberto <laugh>

This took far too much organisation and writing.

the amount of clues needed for all was extreme. I think everyone not clued in was confused but I could see from my lofty perch how astro day one and 2 pointed the town right at the sea then turned round and voted the opposite way then claim oh lets go to the waterfall its magic or something.... the change should have been a huge tell.

...
the doctor swtich was totally crucial

...

the mafia nearly threw it away tonight.. read the warden and gaurd 1 boards tonight <laugh>

Astro bulldozed the direction issue, I subtly tried to help when needed and blend in when needed. Astro i thought did really well setting the tone early on with his descriptive posts but by day 3 I thought surely they were starting to realise he was just telling them where to go <laugh>

That's by far the easiest game I've had as a bad guy <laugh>

It was far too easy to convince everyone I was a town member and at one point felt like it was me and Nev as everyone's strong town reads. And the town followed the direction we wanted every day without fail and without any real problems getting everyone to follow lol

Genuinely might be the worst town ever.

Gerrez, Afcftw, Astro and chaos.... Let that sink in for a minute.... Some of the most obvious and suspicion attracting players we have... All of us are regularly targeted for kills/investigations or suspicion....and that's what you just lost too ;)

P.s. Whenever me and Gerrez are on the same team we totally dominate the lot of you <ok>

I have a confession.

I had to check twice when Tobes was killed as I had convinced myself that astro was town and tobes was mafia reading things on day 2.

I went... Oh. .... Yeah. ...

Astro twice gave very sound logical reasons to go east. He clearly outlined the linkages between clues that pointed go east.

He then switched with very little reason to the needed mafia target.

Nobody called this... did anyone note this as odd?

Oh and Gerrez gave a classic tell as well.

Not telling though.

I was sure they would eventually realise what Astro was doing lol, it's why I thought tennis and Nev had got him Sussed at one point, I even considered pulling it up myself it seemed so obvious, figured I'd then look clearly innocent :p

The only question I have to ask is why did each town member decide the direction vote did not matter.

Did I need to spell it out in the rules? I thought saying something g like choices can be hazardous to health would be a bit unfair to mafia as they might never make a kill.

Everyone seemed to assume it didn't matter and as it was right for guards nobody saw them fail to get the kill.

Surely logic plus the clues about the east and sea would say if you want to get off an island it would be by boat???

No?

Just read the guards board, the only suggestion that either of you knew I was the warden was when Astro put "shall we kill Gerrez <whistle>" but you just went with it. Very nearly a backfire!

I also have a confession... I did genuinely expect people to move there votes off Chaos on the first day but I wasn't going to switch my vote, I would have let him die...and I kind of thought it might happen when I voted him into the lead <laugh>

He was such a wildcard I figured I was better lynching him and looking innocent <laugh>

I'm sorry Chaos <hug> <laugh>

I wanted to throw one of you under the bus at some point so I could use the recruit. Didn't need to in the end.

It was before that I considered you as the warden, I had realised by that point that Astro might die and I probably shouldn't have been openly guessing who you were lol but the timing of penfolds posts and the warden posts made me think it was him lol, it had to be him or you based on comments each of the others had made and the people we had been told to vote for. But since the warden didn't seem to mind us killing you that made it look like Penfold even more! <laugh>

Was shocked for it then to be you and not Penfold haha

Suppose I have to be pleased Sir T was killed when he was as reading his board I do get the feeling he has very severe "grudge" issues.

And as far as worst town is concerned I obviously have to disagree I don't think we were any where near the Sir T Cop Townies crew who even when all positions were known still almost threw that game away. They will take some beating.

Yep, we've got a good record when on the same side <ok>

I will admit to having concerns when I saw the team. Worked well though. Astro being logical, Chaos being crazy and you can pretty much say anything and people ignore it. It also worked in our favour that people always target talkative or quiet ones but only if its different to normal.
