Off Topic Mafia game: The island

You and Astro both played a blinder. I had you both down as town on days 1 and 2. Wasn't so sure on astro after day 3 and had my doubts about you but came back to thinking you were town again today!

And we went the guards way EVERY TIME

 

there were 8 possible routes at the end.

The idea was the dead were gaining more and more insight each night and tonight would have seen how they could win by the choice they made.

They needed the town to be on the verge of escape (right place) but make a choice that would allow them to basically kill everyone and ascend.

The serial killer was really close. all he needed was escape and to kill the warden... he was advising the town correctly on direction.


nobody seemed to think direction mattered... i don't know why. I created a map and mapped out the routes. there was going to be tasks and blockages to the east but the two could escape.

The detective was one set of clues away from the gun. he got killed

neville earned a extra protection in his clues

The town roles were strong enough as they were gaining more and more clues to pin guards.

 

Obviously, I knew who they were and I accused both of them during the game

I also voted Astro very early on day two and then accused Tennis of doing my tactic

 

You and me both. Still can't work out how I helped the town tonight and yet the town ended up losing and I ended up winning

 

EVERY FREAKING TIME.

I should have in hindsight made at least one of the really bad options a guard choice but i felt i might be laid into i guess.

Seriously, great game. As you may have been able to tell I really didn't have much of a clue on so many things.

 

You got a bad guy but not from the team you needed

 

This took far too much organisation and writing.

the amount of clues needed for all was extreme. I think everyone not clued in was confused but I could see from my lofty perch how astro day one and 2 pointed the town right at the sea then turned round and voted the opposite way then claim oh lets go to the waterfall its magic or something.... the change should have been a huge tell.

I've really enjoyed the way this game was put together with the focus on clues - even if they had me pulling my hair out every day! I really really struggled with quite a few of them!

 

Yet again you ****ers should have listened to ACS.

Everything is well done the guards but when you mention they're 'almost major **** up' is mafia

I had no control over them nearly choosing to kill their warden!

 

Even in death as a bad guy you manage to point out how voting for a (then) good guy was the right option. The worst part is you are probably right

 

Until mito told them today, even my teammates didn't know I was the warden

Indeed. No Neville on day 2 means my team would have won. Whichever team that was as I haven't got round to reading the rules yet.
