I was sitting amongst the zGoons as mentioned. ..almost universally they were praising Kante to the hilt ... I think they are very jealous
It's funny how different perceptions can be, there seems to be a general feeling amongst Arsenal fans on our board that Leicester played quite a dirty game and were happy to try and get any advantage they could whether they needed to cheat or not. Yet you seem to think we played a scummy cheating game! I wonder if that is a feeling shared by other Leicester fans?
I've no problem with Leicester players putting a bit extra into a tackle. It's a contact sport. But you must be thoroughly embarassed with your sides actions today. Coquelin, Ramsey and Giroud had the referee on a lead.
You acted like you always do by waving imaginary cards and crowding the ref who was favoured you a lot in the second half - I bet Wenger paid him a visit at half time as he usually does. The only scum was Coquelin who was hounding Mahrez as he was coming off - as you have executives on the FA board, nothing will come of that unlike what would have happened if one of our players did it to yours.
Totally gutted with the result after coming so close. Didn't think I would ever be this disappointed about only being 2 points clear at the top of the Premier League in mid February! Ironically, the way we lost that game makes me more confident that we can actually win this league. The effort and work rate were unbelievable and all we did really was to play our normal game. We weren't able to capitalise on a good start to the second half thanks to some over zealous refereeing, and still restricted the opposition to half chances until we gave away that ridiculous last free kick. With 11 on the pitch I don't think we have a really bad game in us, whereas Arsenal probably do. Spurs are the big worry for me.
Seems it is shared by others and there's a difference, we were putting in hard challenges (so we're Arsenal which I felt made a cracking first half as it was end to end and the ref let it flow) but the arsenal tactics are to try and get our players booked or worse which worked with Simpson. You don't see our players rolling round on the floor, getting in the refs ear or waving imaginary cards. Depends on your opinion of cheating vs playing a hard game
Did you have your eyes closed when Ramsey rolled over three times realised he wasn't getting a free kick then jumped straight to his feet ? Arsenal are a set of whining bastards from top to bottom which is why coincidently most people can't stand you
Well I´ve gotten, sort of, over it now & I´m in the right frame of mind to post. The Ref was ****. He made some very bad calls, but his lines men never really help either. Looking at Febs fixtures I´d of been happy if we had got 4 pts, we have 6 & beat Man City, away, along the way & we still have Norwich to play at home. Now it´s time to chill out, rest & get right back into it v Norwich which, no dis-respect to NCFC, is a must win game when you look at the positions of both teams. Now ain´t the time to slide. We are still looking good. Man City lost, Man Utd lost, WHU drew & we are still top of the lge. "UTF"
hmmmm..... 2 points clear .......... many many winnable games to come .... ranieri gentleman.... kante an engine... drinkwater...unsung hero.. mahrez, vardy, kasper save of the season.... methinks we can take this one on the chin and still easily dare to dream.... also to put a slightly positive spin on a bit of a downer result .... this could absolutely galvanize us now.... also after villa losing we are absolutely 100% guaranteed not to finish last!!
Dont think the ref had a choice but to send off Simpson. They have obviously been told to book players for a pull back, and they have been consistent in that all season. Disappointing to lose but we move on to our next game top of the Prem.
Think Shakespeare was telling Simpson a few home truths as he went off, and Simpson didn't like what he was hearing. Can we recall De Laet, put Wailewski in or will Amartey plug the gap?
Can't recall De Laet and I don't think Wasyl is fast enough to play there and cover Mahrez. Amartey has played RB before but I would also like to see how Chilwell does - am surprised he didn't come on tbh.
I always said it was strange to send out de laet. Albrighton is an option but we'll lose a lot offensively
Got to be Amartey in at RB for me. I don't want to point fingers too much but Wasilewski's stupidity at the end of the match should cost him his place there (he's also way too slow to play RB, and I want to see how the new lad does).
