I think we are an excellent side and worth watching, but inconsistency has cost us....we should finish top 7, but we could have secured that. Leicester have cracked it and taken advantage of the inconsistency of even top sides this season....that could have been us.

Can never be certain of any result this season.
I think you meant we could never be certain of any result this season until we started the POSITIVE POSITIVE threads! 0-3 COYR!!!!!

I am surprised that after the doldrums of December and early January, no-one has mentioned that a win today will see us safe from relegation!

I will be disappointed if we don't win today, such has been the turnaround. Preferably with West Ham losing to Norwich, and Sunderland thumping Man U, so we finish the day a point behind 5th place. That will do nicely!

0-2 to Saints, Austin and Mané.

I thought about it when we got to 37 points, but don't expect me to highlight that. I tend not to look down the division in terms of the dangers of relegation. During one season I remember a reporter pointing out to Alex Ferguson that ManU had acquired enough points to avoid relegation. His response? He didn't think about it. :)

I don't think we should be concerned about it either. ;)

Oh I'm not concerned about it, never was really, but it's a useful reminder to those that were!

A win today would be worth a lot as regards consolidating our great recent form, as I expect WHU and MANU to both win.

I would be ecstatic with 5th and very pleased with 6th...7/8th would be okay-ish with a promise of being better next season. Ninth would involve rending of clothes and gnashing of teeth...shows how we have improved since our last time in the EPL.

Be really nice to finish 5th and, because of Cup results, deny Europe to United and Liverpool.

I'm amazed that anyone would describe 7th/8th as okay-ish

Sigurdsson is back in the goals, so need to keep him quiet. A regular goal-scoring midfielder, I'd forgotten what one of those looked like <whistle>

I did notice the other day that even if we had lost the last five games, we still would not be in the relegation zone. Going to be really tough today as Swansea still have the new manager benefit but I am reasonably confident of another clean sheet. Over to you Charlie....

Anybody else out there using a modified amazon firestick to watch live premier league games? Got mine set up today and been watching the man utd game - am pretty impressed with quality so far. Every 3pm kick off available too so will watch us beat the Swans later :emoticon-0100-smile
